Hi there, Im Marnie, a pretty black 1-year-old, 24.8 lb Whippet mix, tall, lean, all legs, saved from a kill shelter in Port Lavaca, Texas. Thankfully, someone reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue just before my euthanasia date since the shelter was closing for remodeling, and all the dogs were set to "go." Now, safe and sound in a foster home in San Antonio, I am getting ready for adoption, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and happy, and looking forward to being someone's forever dog! My foster mom says Im a very sweet girl, a little reserved at first, but then I quickly become your very best friend. Yep, Im a bit of a velcro dog, in love with being loved, following you from room to room, in your lap when you sit down, and perfectly happy sharing kisses. Im playful with other dogs, and will invite a dog to play chase by taking their toy and then running around the yard with it... and I can run like the wind! I can also fit through the narrowest gaps, so be aware. I am well-behaved, not destructive, housebroken to go outdoors, and also know how to use a potty pad when needed. I am very food-motivated, eating anything offered and enjoying fruits and veggies like pumpkin, apples, carrots, sugar snap peas, and even broccoli! I love walks and car rides, fun outdoor adventures, and just snuggling beside you watching TV. Inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Bagheera is a petite 5 year young terrier mix with a tender heart hiding behind a brave little front. She may be a bit vocal when first approach in her kennel, but once she’s out, her body softens, her ears relax, and she begins to seek gentle affection, even trying to curl into your lap once she feels safe. Still learning to trust, Bagheera thrives with patient, experienced guidance and blossoms with kindness and calm handling. She walks nicely on leash, knows “sit,” and has shown she can coexist with other dogs when given proper structure. This sweet, sensitive girl is looking for a teen-and-up home willing to help her build confidence and show her that love can be steady and safe.
