Darling is a 11 month old Whippet/Black Mouth Cur mix. She&#39s a little shy at first but warms up quick and is a sweetheart. She loves having dog friends to play with. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). MILLIE HAD HER PUPPIES…  BORN JANUARY 28, 2023! 4 females available for adoption – LUCY, PEANUT, ROXY, & MAZY. Momma is of somewhat uncertain breeding, and no one has ever seen “Dad”, so these adorable little ones are gonna be hard to assign to one specific breed!  The vet has speculated that he may see a bit of whippet and a bit of pittie, and suspects they won’t grow past a mid-size dog, if that.  Nonetheless, each one is unique, beautiful, and special. Inquisitive, playful, and filled with all the puppy bravado, followed by a good nap!  All have have had the first two sets of puppy shots to protect their health in new surroundings. The adoption fee will also cover their spay costs when they reach the appropriate age. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. She is slow to warm up to strangers and will take extra time to settle into her new home. Let me introduce myself.  My name is Bella, but I prefer to be called Miss Bella.  I am a tad sassy and walk around like a model on the red carpet.  My foster Mom thinks I am a Whippet/Greyhound mix.  No matter what I am, I am simply gorgeous and I know it.  My base color is white with lots of blue ticking.  My face is blue.  On my beautiful hinny there is a blue spot and my tail curls up all the time.        I need to be an only dog as I can be a tad too sassy at times.  Even though sassy, I will love my human 100% and will give my them lots of cuddles.  I can be very silly at times throwing toys around.  You will be well-entertained.   I am approximately 8 years old and my girlish figure is around 38 lbs.  I have a very healthy appetite so a controlled amount is needed to keep my girlish figure.  I love frozen broccoli bites, baby carrots & string beans for snacks.  My foster Mom has me on a diet so I can maintain the sassy attitude that I have to keep my status of "Miss" Bella.   I pretend I am deaf when my name is called in a totally fenced in yard.  I CANNOT be trusted without a secure yard.  I am still learning how to politely walk on a leash.   Take a close look at my pictures, my eyes are my best feature.  You'll want to adopt me as soon as you look into my beautiful eyes.  I will be waiting for you! Chandler is a delightful 2 year old whippet who could not be a more perfect gentleman! He loves sleeping on the couch, a doggy bed, or your bed. He is crate trained, willingly goes into the crate on command, and will often just nap in an open crate if his foster siblings are taking up the other available spots. Chandler is a speedy pup and when given a fenced yard to run in he will unleash his Whippet zoomies and impress you with his speed and agility. Chandler gets along with kids, other dogs and cats, and loves to take daytime naps in typical whippet fashion. He is affectionate and gets excited when you come in. He isn’t a Velcro dog but he does love to be by your side when on the couch and have his neck and cheeks scratched, and he loves to cuddle in the bed at night. Chandler is in good physical and medical condition. If you’re willing to provide Chandler a forever home, you will receive an abundance of love, affection and happiness.
