She is slow to warm up to strangers and will take extra time to settle into her new home. She loves all animals especially dogs, is very social in a controlled environment, and having another animal to help her learn that she is safe and loved would be best. She's looking for someone patient at first while they gain her trust and then her true colors shine. She loves to run and play, she's sweet and curious, and a very good girl. She is about 3 years old and would thrive in a stable home with a yard and not too much noise.

Darling is a 11 month old Whippet/Black Mouth Cur mix. She&#39s a little shy at first but warms up quick and is a sweetheart. She loves having dog friends to play with. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). MILLIE HAD HER PUPPIES…  BORN JANUARY 28, 2023! 4 females available for adoption – LUCY, PEANUT, ROXY, & MAZY. Momma is of somewhat uncertain breeding, and no one has ever seen “Dad”, so these adorable little ones are gonna be hard to assign to one specific breed!  The vet has speculated that he may see a bit of whippet and a bit of pittie, and suspects they won’t grow past a mid-size dog, if that.  Nonetheless, each one is unique, beautiful, and special. Inquisitive, playful, and filled with all the puppy bravado, followed by a good nap!  All have have had the first two sets of puppy shots to protect their health in new surroundings. The adoption fee will also cover their spay costs when they reach the appropriate age. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
