Despite the possibility he may have been dumped, he is quick to make new human friends. He walks right up with a wagging tail, eager to become your ride-or-die! At nine months old, Elliot is past the puppy nonsense, but he still has plenty of wiggles to keep things fun. His skinny legs and velvety fur make us believe he could be mixed with Whippet, but we don’t know for sure! He definitely embodies their quiet, silly, “velco-dog” personality. Elliot also has a good handle on his potty training and he has quickly caught onto the house rules in foster care. He is gentle–he’s loyal–he’s truly the perfect teammate. We found our sweet Naru in a street dumpster and adopted her right away. Since then she has been a loving and devoted member of our family, loves to cuddle and is very loyal. We unfortunately need to find her a new home, as we are expecting a new baby this fall; Naru is sweet but does not do well around little children. It is hard for us to say goodbye but we want to find a family that will love her as much as we do.

Esme is a bit nervous. New places and loud energy can be a lot for her. But here`s the part people miss: Dogs like Esme tend to form the deepest bonds once they feel safe. They`re thoughtful. Observant. Incredibly loyal. Esme is a 39-lb Whippet mix born on 5/22/2024, who gets along with other dogs and would do best in a quiet home with a confident canine friend. She needs regular exercise, but more than that, she needs patience, consistency and some one who won`t rush her heart. She is good with dogs and would do very well with one who is more dominate. She is NOT cat friendly. She is crate trained, loves car rides and loves to swim. Her favorite thing to do, is to run and play with others, and then, nap time!
