Story
Tristan is a delightful older gentleman looking for a lap (or two) to call his own.  He has obviously had a loving home at some point as he is house trained, very gentle and gets along well with other dogs. He recently fell on hard times for unknown reasons and was picked up as a stray. His teeth were in terrible shape, and most had to be removed. But, he is first in line and meal times and a full member of the clean plate club!  Tristan likes to potter around in the yard and enjoy the sun. As soon as you sit down he will climb into your lap - his favorite place to be.  He is an all round good boy, and no trouble at all. As an older gentleman Tristen is hard of hearing but he is great at looking at you for cues so it is difficult to tell he does not hear well. Tristen does take medicine for a thyroid condition.  He takes 2 pills per day with his food. Tristan has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Tristan could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: https://helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application .  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up. April 26, 2024, 4:43 pm

Story
Meet Walt. Walt came to us as a stray and is now ready for adoption. He is very loving with his human friends (children unknown) but he would prefer to to be the only dog in your home. He doesn’t want to share your attention with other canine or feline companions. He is housebroken, doggy door trained, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

These pups are in Scottsdale, Arizona too!

Story
Hello there! My name is Tiffany and I am a 10 year old 17lb bundle of love and cuteness. Well, truth be told, I do need to lose some weight, so maybe you can help me with that. I came to Forever Loved with my BFF Rockette after our owner died and now I’m looking for a forever home with someone wanting a happy-go-lucky girl who just seems to have the perfect manners. I know how to use a doggy door, I keep my kennel clean, and I just love petting and affection. I got a clean bill of health from the veterinarian, (well except for my weigh; Dr said I could lose a few) and my teeth are sparkling clean! My hair may look scruffy and unkempt, but don’t be fooled - Its soft and low maintenance. I’m very food motivated and I certainly enjoy nice walks and gentle play with other dogs. If you’d love twice the fun and twice the love, you can adopt me along with my BFF Rockette, because we get along so well, but I can certainly be adopted without her. I have this nice, calm, quiet temperament, and would fit in just about anywhere the food and love is! They love me here at Forever Loved, they really do, but there’s no place like “home”.
