Story
Lupa is very energetic little girl. She is about 3 years old and is a wired hair terrier mix. She does like bark a lot and needs a lot of space to run around and play. She is not good with other dogs or with other animals in the home.  Lupa can be aggressive with strangers at times. She needs a lot of supervision as she can be destructive to household items and has seperation anxiety as well.  Lupa has trouble with one of her eyes and may require daily cleaning of her eyes.We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. Story
Sweet Rosie was found at a park with another dog. Scared and unsure of her surroundings, it took her finder 2 weeks to finally catch her. Her past is unknown, but what her finder does know is that she is very sweet and craves cuddles. She is a medium sized Am Staff mix. Rosie spends the night in a crate rarely having an accident. She will need some time to learn to be comfortable in a new environment, but she seems to trust quickly. Help give Rosie the chance she deserves to know what a real family feels like and apply today to meet her!May 2, 2024, 2:33 am

Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Princess! 8-year-old Princess is a wirehaired terrier mix that needs a loving new home. She has been a beloved pet since being adopted from a shelter as a puppy. Unfortunately, Princess has struggled to adjust since a baby joined her family 18 months ago and recently bit her. Princess has never shown any aggression or bit anyone previously, and her family understands that it is stressful for her as a senior to have a busy toddler around. In consideration for their toddler's safety as well as Princess' well-being, they have made the difficult decision to rehome her. Princess is a sweet companion who enjoys playing with toys and going for walks. She is in good health and house-trained. Princesss would do best in a home with adults-only or with a family that has older children. She would prefer to be the only dog. To learn more about Princess, please contact Paulina at (619) 254-9984 or paund13@gmail.com. *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

Story
The Spanish puppies are heart stealers! These adorable puppies come in a variety of colors and some have scruffy fur and others have short fur. Their mama Spanish is a super sweet, medium sized Wirehaired Terrier mix. We aren't quite sure who dad was or what these puppies are mixed with - Shepherd? Lab? - but they sure are cute! We think they are on track to be medium sized dogs like their mama when full grown. These puppies are social, playful and love to snuggle up with each other or in your lap. Hermosa is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Spanish pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. Please take a moment and go to www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt to complete our online dog adoption application. If you have any questions email us at doginfo@labsandmore.org or call us at 858-273-5386. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
The Firefly puppies will light up your life! These precious little ones were found with their sweet mama Firefly under a house. She is a small to medium sized scruffy Wirehaired Terrier and Schnauzer mix with a heart of gold. We don't know who dad was or how big these little ones will get but they may have some Lab or Shepherd in them. While we don't know for sure, we expect them to be as big as their mama and medium in size when done growing. The Firefly puppies are playful puppies that can't wait to crawl into your lap for snuggles. Valo is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization.
