Story
Lupa is very energetic little girl. She is about 3 years old and is a wired hair terrier mix. She does like bark a lot and needs a lot of space to run around and play. She is not good with other dogs or with other animals in the home.  Lupa can be aggressive with strangers at times. She needs a lot of supervision as she can be destructive to household items and has seperation anxiety as well.  Lupa has trouble with one of her eyes and may require daily cleaning of her eyes.We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in a particular dog please FILL OUT an Adoption Application at our website @ http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt and we can schedule you for an appointment to meet with a particular dog if it is available. Story
Meet Marcy a FoxieDoxie (Fox Hound Terrier/ Dachshund Mix) and A Sweet Soul Looking for a Patient Heart Marcy's story began with heartbreak. When her family moved out of their apartment, they left her behind. Alone, scared, hungry, and confused, she waited for days before the landlord finally found her. She was taken to a high-intake shelter, where the stress and fear caused her to develop an upper respiratory infection. Tragically, she was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in just in time. Marcy received the medical care, love, and safety she desperately needed. Today, she is fully recovered, spayed, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Now all she needs is a family who will never let her down again. Because of everything she's been through, Marcy is understandably cautious around new people. She won't be the dog who runs up to greet strangers on day one. She needs time, patience, and kindness to learn that she's finally safe and that no one is going to hurt or abandon her again. Once you earn her trust, you'll discover the real Marcy—a funny, gentle, affectionate girl with a sweet personality that is absolutely worth the wait. Watching her confidence grow and seeing her begin to play, relax, and ask for affection is incredibly rewarding. Marcy is looking for a calm, loving home with someone who understands that the best relationships are built on trust. If you're willing to give her the time she needs, she'll reward you with a lifetime of quiet companionship and unconditional love. Could you be the person who finally gives Marcy the happy ending she deserves?

Story
The Noodle puppies are definitely part of the More of Labs and More. These adorable puppies are small but mighty. Mama Noodle is a scruffy Wirehaired Terrier and possibly Poodle mix. We don't know who their dad was or what all the Noodle puppies are mixed with - possibly Chihuahua - but believe they will stay small. The Noodle puppies are a sweet little bunch and perfect lap size. Tortellini is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Noodle puppy then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Story
Barney is definitely man's best friend. He enjoys a good scratch and will hang out with you while you watch TV. He even watches, too! He also loves his toys and will entertain himself with a bone for hours (no plush toys for him because he will pull out all the stuffing!) When you're feeling more active, Barney is happy to go out on adventures with you. He is very spry for his age! He loves car rides, hikes and exploring, but he sometimes pulls on his leash and barks at other dogs in excitement. He just wants to say hi, though! Barney is a very sweet dog and gets along with dogs, cats, kids and even bunnies! He would love a home with another dog, but he mostly just wants someone to give him attention and make him part of their family. Barney is a very unique looking dog with his long legs, wire hair, and a mohawk! Even though he is only 20lbs, he tends to hang out with our big dogs since he is so tall! Barney is a Jack Russell Terrier/Poodle and approx 11 years old (he doesn't act like a senior at all). He is in great shape, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Barney is also housebroken, crate trained and knows basic commands. If you're interested in adopting Barney, please submit an application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.orgSeptember 1, 2026, 7:27 pm

Story
Archie is pretty much the perfect dog, but he gets overlooked because of his age. He is 12 years old but you'd guess he was younger. Yes, he loves to curl up in a lap to nap and doesn't require a lot of exercise, but he still enjoys playing and he loves to explore. He would love a family where he can be someone's travel buddy even if it's just a trip to a restaurant, coffee shop or the park. He loves car rides! Plus, he is friendly with everyone he meets, walks well on a leash, and has the best manners, so it's easy to have him tag along. He recently went to dog beach and had the best time! (Check out the video). Archie gets along with all people, dogs and cats. He even previously lived with toddlers, but we think he deserves to spend his senior years in a bit more quiet environment than with young children. Archie is approx 15lbs, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He has had a vet exam and bloodwork done (all looked great) and he recently had a dental. He doesn't have many teeth left, but he eats kibble just fine. Archie is quiet, even- tempered, and fine when left alone. He is also housebroken and crate trained (but we never need to crate him). If you're interested in adopting Archie, please submit an application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.orgSeptember 1, 2026, 7:27 pm
