Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! I’m Brooklyn 🐾💗 I’m a 10-year-old wire haired terrier, and I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I just left my home of 10 years, so the world can feel a little big and scary sometimes. I am shy when we first meet, maybe even a little sassy with my bark, but I am truly a lover, not a fighter. If you give me a little time, I promise I’ll show you my true self 🥺and my true self is a snuggle loving, scratch seeking, side kick. Once I trust you, I turn into the sweetest, cuddliest little companion. I love being close to my people — snuggling up next to them, following them around, and just enjoying the comfort of being loved. I don’t ask for much… just a safe place and a parent or parents to call my own 💕 I had to share my last home with a one-year-old puppy and while I am still playful, love to zoom and chase toys and go for walks, I am not super excited about little puppy energy. I think I would love to be your only dog, or share with your slightly older dog, but no puppies please. I sleep beautifully in my playpen at night and am fully house trained. I love to go potty out in the fence in back yard, so if you had one of those, I would be so excited to roam out there with you. My perfect home would be calm and loving, with a small family where I can feel secure. I’d do great with another small, gentle dog friend and/or older kids who understand how to be patient and kind with me. I may be a little shy at first, but I have so much love to give. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal cuddle buddy, I could be your perfect little shadow 🐾💗 When my foster parents sit and snuggle me, then stop petting me, I use my paw to direct their hands right back onto me for more pets and scratches. I really do want to be your lil lady, but I will remind you to pet me 😊 I do love a good chin and ear rub. It might be tricky to meet me at an adoption event because I can get a little overwhelmed in a crowd, but if you’re willing to take a chance on me, I will show you my beautiful loving soul and make you so glad you chose me. Love, Brooklyn Adoption FEE: $150, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. Story
Murphy, one of Mama Tillie's puppies that joined our rescue at the beginning of the month, is still looking for a family of his own! We honestly can't believe this scruffy little guy is still available. Murphy is full of personality. He's the more confident brother, loves to explore, and isn't afraid to let everyone know when he has something important to say. Whether he's playing with his siblings, investigating something new, or asking for attention, Murphy approaches life with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He's making great progress with potty training and is exactly what you'd expect from a growing puppy, curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. He has a little more energy than his siblings, but he also loves to cuddle once the excitement winds down. We expect Murphy to grow into a medium-sized dog, around 30 pounds, and like any puppy, he'll need continued training, patience, and lots of appropriate things to chew. We think he'd especially enjoy having a well-balanced adult dog to show him the ropes and help him become the best boy he can be. And can we talk about that adorable scruffy face? Whoever adopts Murphy is getting a fun-loving sidekick that's guaranteed to keep life entertaining. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.

Story
Meet Tillie! 🤍 Now that all of her puppies have grown up and started finding families of their own, it's finally Mama Tillie's turn. This sweet little scruffy girl is about 20 pounds and has been an absolute dream in foster care. She was a wonderful mom, but she's also more than ready to enjoy life as someone's beloved baby. Tillie is fully vetted, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. She's been wonderful with every person she's met and has done well around other dogs. She has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to have around, whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out for a walk. After giving so much of herself to raise her puppies, Tillie deserves a family that will spoil her with all the love, attention, and cozy naps she's earned. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion, Tillie is ready to steal your heart. Story
Hi! My name is Bunny. I am a spayed, microchipped, 3.5 years old, 16 lbs. JackABee (Jack Russell/Beagle). I am the ultimate cuddle buddy looking for a peaceful home with a fenced-in yard because I love to run and play! Here are a few more fun facts about me...I am house-trained, extremely affectionate, have lots of energy for playtime, and I love to learn new commands/tricks… especially if you use treats and food as rewards. Some of my favorite things to do are zoomies in the yard, followed-up by naps in the sunbeams through the window. And I love to sniff everything. When you pet me or rub my tummy at night, I purr like a kitten and coo like a happy baby. I also love to burrow in anything soft and fluffy, peeking out occasionally to see if you are close by. My trainer, Brandi, (PETS Pet Enrichment and Training Solutions, LLC), is training me not to be afraid of dogs and people. I can be a little bit nervous at first when I meet new people, but I typically warm up quickly and become your best friend. I haven’t been around dogs or people very much so my foster mom is helping me learn to socialize. When I’m scared, I bark. I do not bite. I am looking for someone I can trust to give me guidance and help me feel safe, secure, and protected. Brandi is also helping me with my fear of thunderstorms. I listen to Youtube recordings of thunderstorms paired with some of my favorite activities such as playing with my toys, chasing after treats, and sometimes while I am eating. I've already noticed that it has been helping to lessen my fear! I need to let you know that I plié when I stand on my left leg, (the vet believes I may have broken it when I was younger) but I promise when you see me do my zoomies, you will notice that it doesn’t slow me down at all! I am in search of someone who will let me show them how extremely intelligent and incredibly affectionate I am, and will give me coaching and guidance so I can trust them and feel protected. I want to be forever part of your family.
