Story
Hi! I’m Shiloh — a 1-year-old terrier mix with a full-time job as the neighborhood welcome committee. 🐾 My hobbies include making new dog friends, winning over every human I meet, and acting like we’ve known each other forever. Seriously… strangers? Never heard of them. If you’ve got a lap, a leash, or snacks, we’re already besties. I’m young, playful, social, and always ready for the next adventure — whether that’s a walk around the block, a play session with my dog buddies, or supervising you while you do absolutely anything. I bring the fun wherever I go and would love a family that enjoys laughs, tail wags, and lots of affection. If your home could use a happy little shadow with a big personality and an even bigger heart, I’m your guy. Apply to adopt me at www.bigdogsdontcry.com — I’ll be waiting with kisses and wiggles! 🐶

Story
Oliver 2 years old | 14 lbs | Wire-haired terrier mix Meet Oliver — a wire-haired whirlwind with a big-dog personality packed into a small, scruffy frame. This 14-pound firecracker spends his days prancing from one adventure to the next, chasing tennis balls until his legs give out and engineering creative solutions to the garbage can lid situation. His sparkling eyes are basically a warning label for sock theft. For all his feisty bravado, Oliver has a tender side too. Loud noises like thunder send him sprinting for cover, and new people can make him a little uncertain — he'd much rather assess someone from a safe distance before deciding they're worthy of his affections. Once you've earned his trust, though, you have a fiercely loyal companion for life. Oliver is looking for an all-female household where he can truly relax and feel secure. Men and even younger boys make him very anxious. He blossoms with patient, calm energy and will reward that safety with endless personality, snuggles, and the occasional stolen sneaker. If your home is his kind of haven, Oliver is ready to steal your heart — along with your favorite footwear. If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! Story
Rocky is 9 months old and weighs about 20 pounds, with a little extra chunky monkey charm. He is very sweet, quiet, and naturally submissive. He is incredibly loving and people-oriented. Rocky is a Shortie Jack Russell with an easy, adaptable temperament. He can run and play if you want activity, or he can relax and be a couch potato if the day is quiet. He adjusts to the pace of the home and is not a high-energy terrier. Rocky currently uses a pet door in his foster home for potty breaks, which has helped him understand that potty happens outdoors. Even without a pet door, this foundation makes his transition easier, but he will still need patience, supervision, and continued training as he learns your home and routine. Story
Pip is a 9-month-old, 15-pound sweetheart who came from a breeder/hoarding situation and has blossomed beautifully in his foster home. He has a naturally calm, gentle temperament and is not the wild, high-energy type. He has lived with his littermate, Pauley, his whole life and they get along wonderfully, but Pip does not need to be adopted with his brother. He has the personality and confidence to flourish in his own home, and adopters should not feel obligated to take both boys. If you are interested in adopting both, the combined adoption fee is $495. Individual adoption fee is $295. ABOUT PIPPip is the more sensitive, submissive sibling. He is a gentle little guy who warms up beautifully with kindness and routine. He loves being held, enjoys affection, and is learning that the world is a safe place. He thrives with patient people who speak softly, move kindly, and give him time to settle in. TRAINING AND HOME LIFEPip is adjusting wonderfully to normal home life. He enjoys being outside, running in the yard, and relaxing inside with his foster family. He is still working on housetraining and will need continued patience, supervision, and consistency as he learns a new home and routine. He currently uses a pet door in his foster home, which has helped him understand that potty happens outdoors. Like most puppies his age, Pip is still in the chewing stage and needs supervision. For his safety, he must be kept in an approved puppy playpen anytime he cannot be directly watched. A puppy pen provides a low-anxiety, safe space for him and helps him learn appropriate habits while keeping him secure. Pip cannot be left home for long periods. As a young puppy, he needs the companionship, structure, and reassurance he did not receive in his previous home. He is still learning, still chewing, and still building confidence, so he needs adopters who are home more often to provide guidance and support. PIP IS:- Vet-checked- Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations- Dewormed- On heartworm and flea preventatives- Neutered- Microchipped ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:- A fenced-in backyard suitable for small/medium dogs (no invisible fences)- Someone home more often for companionship, training, and supervision- No crating; adopters must use an approved puppy playpen- Children age 7+ (younger considered case-by-case)- Homes with no dogs or up to one small/medium dog PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO SEE HIS VIDEO AND TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION:www.indianasaveadog.com  ##2681160##
