Meet Bebe – Your Little Best Friend! 🐾7 years old | Female | 11 lbs | Wirehaired Mix | White & TanLooking for a little dog with a big heart and a whole lot of love to give? Meet Bebe! This adorable 11-pound girl is a total love bug who wants to be part of your world. Whether she's following you around the house, soaking up pets, exploring the backyard, or showing off her hilarious indoor zoomies, Bebe has a way of making everyday life a little more fun.Bebe loves attention and will happily come over for pets whenever you're available. She's affectionate without being overly demanding and listens beautifully when it's time to settle down. She may not be a lap dog, but she'll gladly hop up for some attention before heading off to her favorite cozy spot. And don't be surprised if you catch her bouncing between her dog bed, footstool, and crate during one of her adorable zoomie sessions! Here's what makes Bebe so special:Dog-friendly: Bebe gets along wonderfully with her small canine foster brother and would love a playful little buddy. She could also be perfectly happy as your one and only, soaking up all the attention herself.Cat-friendly: She lives peacefully with a cat, showing little interest beyond an occasional sniff.A great listener: Bebe responds well to direction and is an easygoing companion, even though she hasn't learned formal commands yet.A good little traveler: She walks nicely on a leash and does great in the car, making her a fun companion for outings and adventures.Crate-comfortable: She willingly goes into her crate on her own and has done well sleeping in it, too.Playful and curious: She loves running around the yard, investigating everything, and enjoying little bursts of the zoomies.Bebe has a medium energy level and would fit into a variety of homes, from a quieter household to a more active family. She hasn't been around children in her foster home, but her foster mom thinks she'd do well with respectful kids who already know how to interact appropriately with dogs. She's a little more cautious around men at first, but warms up once she realizes they're friendly.Bebe is making good progress with her house training. She generally takes care of business outside when given regular opportunities, and she uses potty pads when her people are away for longer periods. She can also be vocal when she hears noises outside, so her future family should be prepared for a little watchdog barking. At mealtime, she prefers soft food or kibble softened with broth rather than hard kibble on its own.Bebe came into rescue after being found as a stray, and now she's ready for the happy ending she deserves: a family who will make her a cherished member of the household. In return, she'll give you affection, companionship, entertainment, and the kind of love that makes a house feel like home.Could Bebe be your new best friend? If you're looking for a sweet, fun-loving little companion who wants to share your everyday life, Bebe might be exactly the girl you've been waiting for!Bebe is currently being fostered in Oak Forest, Illinois.
