He loves people and is friendly with everyone he meets, but there’s something important to know about him: Ozzy Happy Feet is not a lapdog. He would much rather be exploring, playing, walking, or checking out his surroundings than spending the entire day curled up on someone’s lap. Other dogs are a big part of Ozzy Happy Feet’s life. He currently lives with both large and small dogs and gets along great with them. His favorite playmates are two male Chihuahuas, and the three boys love running and wrestling together. Ozzy Happy Feet would especially enjoy having a similar-sized canine companion who can keep up with his style of play. Adventures are right up his alley too. Ozzy Happy Feet enjoys going for walks so he can explore, loves car rides, and likes looking out the window to see what’s going on around him. Once he’s had a chance to run and play with his dog friends, he does well settling into his crate. Because Ozzy Happy Feet is fast, busy, and curious, his future home needs a securely fenced yard. *Currently fostered in Portland, OR Meet Castiel! Castiel is currently a year old, and we think he may be a wire hair terrier and chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Castiel is a joyful boy with a wiry coat, probably moderate to low shedder, and he’s young so he has spunky energy. He likes toys and playing with kids! He tries to instigate play and engagement. Castile is so unique and beautiful! Everywhere we take him, people talk about how unique he is! Castiel is a Good little guy! He played with Jessica - another small playful dog- and he is not too pushy with his play, for a puppy. He played chase for a little bit and would come back up to me to sit next to my feet. Once he got tired he would lay down in front of me and relax taking all the affection he could get. He is a puppy so he will need some training as he gets older, but he will learn quickly because he is very much a people pleaser. When he met my kids ages 4 and 7, he was joyful and wanted to engage with them. He’s very trusting and outgoing. He does like toys and wants to initiate play.
