Story
Reno is a 3 year old Wire-haired Fox Terrier with AKC papers. He was adopted as a puppy by my cousin, and sent to live with my family 6 months ago after my cousin had two babies. We agreed to take Reno because we have an older Fox Terrier from the same breeder. Unfortunately, after several months together and quite a bit of training with a behavioralist, the two dogs just can not get along. The good: Reno is such a loveable dog! He is very gentle and has been around children his entire life. He is active and loves car rides. He walks on a leash beautifully and follows basic commands. He rarely barks. He does not shed hair. He rarely jumps on people, and he does not dart out the front door. He is potty trained, but you have to walk him outside to potty. He sleeps all night and just wants to be close by his person. The bad: Reno is reactive to other dogs. He does not like to be left alone for long periods of time and does not do well in a crate. He has accidents about once a week.

Jess is a tiny terrier who is shy as a whisper when meeting someone new, until she decides they are hers, at which point she transforms into the most devoted little lap dog, melting into her chosen throne as if she were born to rule it. Ever observant, she likes to stay in the “know” about everything happening in the neighborhood, keeping careful watch from her favorite vantage point as though she were the unofficial reporter of all comings and goings. And when she isn’t presiding over her cozy perch, she is on patrol for bugs, springing into delighted pursuit of anything that flutters or crawls, as though each tiny creature were a dragon sent for her to bravely chase away.  Jess is sure to warm your lap and your heart. ##2636430##

Nick is a small terrier with bright, thoughtful eyes who likes to keep track of everything going on around him. At the shelter he watches the world with curiosity, investigating all footsteps and voices as he checks out all that is going on.  Once he decides you’re a friend, he loves nothing more than climbing into a welcoming lap and settling in like he’s been there forever.
