Hi, I’m Blossom! I’m a sweet, smart Wire Terrier who loves attention and being around my people. I get along well with dogs and kids, know how to sit, shake, and lay down, and I walk nicely beside you on a leash. I’m treat motivated, love chew toys and bones, and I’m always ready for some extra pets and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a big heart, I just might be your girl.

Story
Meet Kodak – The Biggest Project You'll Ever LOVE! Kodak is an adorably handsome Australian Cattle Dog and Wire-Haired Terrier mix with scruffy fur, a precious face, and ears that are impossible to forget. Smart, energetic, and full of enthusiasm, Kodak is looking for an active family that understands young working dogs and is ready to help him continue learning, growing, and thriving. Kodak combines some of the very best traits of both breeds. He has the intelligence, athleticism, and determination of an Australian Cattle Dog paired with the curiosity, confidence, and playful spirit of a terrier. He loves to run, explore, play, and be involved in whatever his people are doing. Life with Kodak is never boring—he's always ready for the next adventure. Because Kodak is both intelligent and energetic, he needs more than a daily walk around the block. He thrives when given physical exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to learn. Training sessions, hiking trails, dog sports, puzzle toys, and interactive play are all right up his alley. Kodak is incredibly smart and eager to learn, but like many intelligent dogs, he can invent his own entertainment if he isn't given enough direction. Because of his energy level and natural herding instincts, Kodak would do best in a home with children 15 years of age or older. Like many herding breeds, he can become overly enthusiastic when excited and may try to herd moving people, especially children. He is still learning impulse control and appropriate manners and will benefit from a family committed to consistency, structure, and continued training. Kodak enjoys other dogs and can do well with both males and females who are confident, playful, and tolerant of his energetic play style. He plays hard, sometimes forgets his manners, and can be a bit of a force of nature during play sessions. A canine companion who enjoys rough-and-tumble play and can appropriately communicate boundaries would be an excellent match. After he's had a chance to burn off his energy, Kodak's softer side begins to shine. He loves being close to his people, leaning into them for affection, and soaking up attention. Beneath all that enthusiasm is a sweet, loyal dog who wants nothing more than to be included in his family's daily life. Kodak isn't looking for a family that wants a finished dog. He's looking for a family that sees the incredible potential in a young dog and is excited to help him become the amazing companion he's destined to be. The investment you make in Kodak today will be rewarded with years of loyalty, adventure, and unconditional love. If you're looking for a smart, active best friend and are ready for the biggest project you'll ever love, Kodak may be the perfect dog for you.
