__________
White arrived safely in Wisconsin on March 21, 2026 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue and is settling into his foster home, where he’s doing well.
Meet White:
White is a 10-month-old wire-haired terrier mix who is ready for a fresh start. He was recently
surrendered to the shelter when his owner developed health problems and could no longer care
for him.
He is a fun, cute, and happy guy who loves being around people. White does well with dogs and
kids, making him a great fit for many families. He has not been tested with cats yet.
White is potty trained and has a medium energy level. He enjoys running around the yard,
playing, and being active, but he’s also happy to spend time with his people. At just 10 months
old, he’s still a young pup with lots of love and fun to bring to a home.
Currently about 25 pounds, White will be neutered this week and will be ready to head north and
start settling into a loving home.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.
**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
