But once she realizes she’s okay? Oh… that’s when the magic happens. Because underneath that shy exterior is the sweetest little soul who absolutely melts for gentle love. Because of her beginning she would probably do better in a quieter home with older children that can give her space when she needs it. Her favorite thing? Belly scratches. The kind where she slowly rolls over like, “Okay… I think I trust you… you may proceed.” And once you’re in? Out of his group, Chandler is the shyest. The quiet observer. The one who hangs back just a little, taking it all in and hoping—very softly—that everything is going to be okay. And the really special part? He’s already starting to believe it is. He’ll take treats gently from your hand (a very brave move, if you ask him), and he gets excited to see familiar faces.
