Sweet Umi and another pup were thrown out of a losers car in front of LA Live. Just thrown out still with harness and leash on. Umi was filled with milk. No babies anywhere. Security footage showed this awful behavior of tossing your unwanted dogs from cars. . She was never groomed and of course was a matted mess. We had to shave her down and start all over. She must feel so much better. Umi is doing fantastic in her foster home. She's doing so much better with housebreaking too. Umi is 9 pounds so super portable. Umi is just a sweet ez going loving gal. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Toby is a very sweet chocolate yorkipoo. Unfortunately, Toby has severe separation anxiety. It has been that way from the first day we met. It has gradually improved over the past year but still can be difficult to manage. Toby would do amazing with someone who can be around a lot. (A family, retired individual, SAHM, work-from-home situation, etc. would definitely be a great fit for Toby.) I live alone and have a busy work schedule. I gave up one of my jobs recently (for various reasons) which has helped Toby to have company. But I can’t do that forever. Toby does amazing with my friend’s family (4 people, several pets) and I think it’s because he always has human contact (someone is usually at home or if everyone is away, it’s very brief). He LOVES to be held and cuddled. In fact, he’ll almost sigh in relief at being held.

Barely a #shelterselfie with another bonded pair Echelon (blonde, M) and Batgirl (fuzzy, F).They are both aged at 8yrs old, and share the energy of having nothing to prove to anyoneanymore (Hazzah to that!). They both loved making new friends and using their time in the yard to get pets from any available hands. They exude happiness and love and absolutely find safety in being with each other. Batgirl is a bit goofier and more curious, with Echelon being a bit more chill and casual, but equally determined to get some attention. They`ll do well in just about anyhome environment, and don`t need a ton of exercise to be happy. Some long walks and an occasional bout of play is about all they`ll need. Echelon has some very classic `dog` goodlooks. Batgirl looks a bit like a very skilled drawing come to life.
