A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal. Ella has seen & witnessed evil in life. She was pulled out of a slaughterhouse with several of our other rescues. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything she has seen, heard & her previous life. We cannot even begin to imagine what Ella witnessed & heard when she was at the slaughterhouse. How Ella ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Ella & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Ella out, her fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Ella & her friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Ella is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Ella was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Ella was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. We can’t stress how sweet Ella is. She will even put her paws on you for cuddles just as she cuddles into you while sleeping next to you. She is the happiest & vibrant little angel. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection. She is a really smart girl too because on the day of arrival in her foster home she taught herself to run up hardwood stairs & follow her foster mum. She will also sit in the kitchen & wait while her food is being made. When she finds people who love her they become his world. She is such a soft gentle soul her foster mum said with a very sweet personality. She will definitely let you know when she wants something & can stand on her hind legs & walk back & forward when she wants something too. She loves to run & play with her foster siblings & must go to a home with another dog who will play with her. She loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on her. Ella eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of her treats are homemade Ella has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness & leash. Ella is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Ella adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Ella & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. So far she has not started showing interest in toys in her foster home. Ella has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Ella we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Ella where someone is home during the day or Ella can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Did we mention this boy loves a good outfit too. Ella is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Ella has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings & will want to sleep in bed with you & she does in her current loving foster home. She will jump at the side of the bed to be picked up so she can get in. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Ella’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Ella is now roughly 8.3 lbs & 3 years old. She is spayed & possibly a yorkie poo & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent over $2000 on Ella with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Ella has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Ella with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Ella was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Ella’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Ella potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Ella & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Ella who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Ella has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Cole! Cole is an adorable 1-year-old, 9 lb Yorkiepoo who came to us as an owner surrender when his previous owner could no longer care for him. He is currently thriving in a foster home and is ready to find his forever family! Cole is a happy, energetic, and playful little guy with a big personality packed into a small body. He is extremely social, loves people, and absolutely lives for playtime with other dogs. He plays hard, can be vocal, and has a ton of youthful puppy energy ~ so he is looking for a home with another young, playful dog who can be his full-time playmate and help keep him well-socialized and fulfilled. Because of his energy level and vocal nature, Cole requires a freestanding home with a securely fenced yard — apartments, condos, and shared-wall living are not a good fit for him. He also does not do well with crate confinement and prefers the freedom to move around and explore his home environment. Cole is smart, eager, and still very much in his puppy phase. He will benefit from an adopter who is committed to continuing his training, providing structure, and giving him plenty of physical and mental outlets. A young, active household that enjoys play, enrichment, and daily activity would be ideal for him. This spunky boy will also need regular grooming to keep his soft coat healthy and looking its best. At the end of a busy day, Cole loves to cuddle up and soak in attention from his people ~ he’s affectionate, sweet, and full of love! If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion and have a playful dog at home looking for a best friend, Cole may be the perfect match for you! Cole is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (she is currently in foster care): Meet Cricket! She is an extremely shy, sweet 1-year-old, 10-lb Yorkie Terrier mix who is looking for a quiet, patient home. Cricket needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time. She will do best with someone who can give her the space, patience, and consistency she needs to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. Because of her shy nature, Cricket would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with no children. She will need a standalone home outside of the city with a securely fenced yard, as she can be a flight risk and needs a safe space to explore at her own pace. Cricket does well with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with several canine companions. She could be happy with another calm dog or as an only dog. While she is not cuddly, she is quiet, gentle, and well-behaved, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a more independent, sensitive soul. She is working on potty training in her foster home and is pad trained. Cricket will also require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. If you’re a patient, kind person looking to give a shy dog the safe, peaceful home she deserves, Cricket may be the perfect match for you. Cricket is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $500.

💙 Meet Miso! She’s a gentle, shy, and sweet girl who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe place. ✅ Currently in South Korea 💜 Available to fly to SEA 💙 Name: Miso 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in October 2021) 💙 Weight: 8.4 kg / 18.5 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, currently undergoing heartworm treatment, retest scheduled for anaplasma, and dental scaling completed. * Suffered from a skin condition when first rescued. Although she is now fully recovered, her fur is still in the process of growing back. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Miso was rescued from a hoarder's house in Gimje along with her two puppies and moved to the Gimje City Shelter. At the time, she was suffering from severe bedsores that were left untreated. During a particularly long Chuseok holiday period last year, her care became even more difficult, leading Adogs to step in for an emergency rescue to provide the medical attention she desperately needed. Sadly, one of her puppies passed away, but the other puppy, #AdogsCh찹쌀(Chapsal), has already found a forever home. Now, Miso is waiting for her own forever family at our center. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Can be a bit shy with strangers at first, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up! Once she’s comfortable, she is very affectionate and loves to sleep right by your side. * With Dogs: Generally gets along well with other dogs at our center without much conflict. However, she feels a bit uncomfortable around overly energetic or pushy dogs. * With Cats: Her reaction to cats is unknown as she hasn't had a proper introduction yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown at this time since she is currently living in a group environment at our center. * Potty Training: Mostly uses pee pads, though occasional accidents happen. May need consistent training when starting life in a home environment. * Hygiene: Was a bit uneasy when getting her nails clipped at the vet, but it was manageable without great difficulty. * Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, she hasn't had any walking experiences yet. * Car Sickness: Did not show any signs of motion sickness during the car ride from the rescue site to the hospital. * No history of biting. May occasionally growl if she feels uncomfortable. * Absolutely loves treats, which makes it very easy to bond with her! * Gets wary if someone approaches or tries to pick her up too suddenly. Feels uncomfortable when forced to do something, though she tends to be patient. Also dislikes it when other dogs get too close to her personal space. Help Miso find her forever family in Seattle — maybe even someone to cheer on the Mariners with! ⚾💙

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Seattle💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Soobin❤️ 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. * Her coat was severely matted right after her rescue, so she has been completely shaved for her health and comfort. 2.) Rescue Story * Soobin was rescued on the day Adogs was volunteering at the Gimje City Shelter to prepare for winter. At the time, an infectious disease was spreading through the shelter, and the weather was becoming increasingly cold. Realizing Soobin would not be able to survive those conditions, we urgently brought her into our care. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Can be a bit cautious around strangers, but she isn’t naturally timid. Once she gets used to someone, she is likely to open up quickly. * With Dogs: Tends to bark warily when she sees other dogs moving in front of her. * With Cats: Has not been introduced to them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine at this time as she is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Since she lives at our center, she currently only relieves herself outdoors. * Hygiene: Received grooming at a professional groomer’s and she did well. * Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, her walks are strictly restricted, so her leash manners are yet to be determined. * Car Sickness: Doesn’t have car sickness and rides in the car well! * Has shown no signs of biting or mouthing. * Barking: Barks sensitively at the movements of other dogs, but this may be due to the unfamiliar environment. We are continuing to monitor her. * Likes: Loves treats! Even if she is feeling a bit shy about being touched, she will still accept treats from your hand.
