Name:   Petra       Best Guess for Breed:  Yorkie/Terrier Best Guess for Age:   8 yrs as of Nov 2025        SEX:    female   Approximate Weight:   14 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. She needs a foster or adopter to secure her freedom ride to the DC area.   Petra is Looking For:   Her forever home! This sweet older girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She may be a Golden Girl, but her sniffer is strong and she's got pep in her step - she's eager for sniffy walks and world exploration with her humans! A cushy dog bed, quality kibble, and lots of snuggles round out her wish list.  What My Foster Says About Me:   Petra needs a foster! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
