&#226&#156&#168 Momma Ruby is ready to be someone’s baby now &#226&#156&#168 Ruby is a precious 7-pound Yorkie/Chihuahua sweetheart, under 2 years old, who has already done one of the hardest jobs there is — raising six puppies. Now that her mom duties are over, this tiny girl is discovering how fun, playful, and cozy life can be. Ruby is gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving once she feels secure. She adores cuddling, happily curls up in laps, loves her donut bed, and makes a beeline under the covers at bedtime for snuggles by your leg. As her confidence grows, she shows off her playful side with joyful zoomies and silly ball games — watching her play is pure happiness. She walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is nearly house-trained, using both outdoor potty breaks and pee pads with ease. Ruby is also great with cats and enjoys trying to play with her feline foster siblings. Ruby thrives with companionship and would do best in a home with a confident small dog to help guide her and ease her anxiety when left alone. A calm, patient person or couple — especially someone who works from home or is retired — would be ideal to help her continue building confidence at her own pace. Her foster home is gently introducing her to the world with frequent outings, and while Ruby may be a little shaky at first, she’s improving all the time. Once she trusts you, her heart opens completely, revealing a funny, playful, loving little dog who wants nothing more than to be close. Meet Shania, our beautiful little comeback girl — and just like her country music namesake, she’s ready for a brand-new chapter filled with love, understanding, and the right environment to truly shine. Shania is a sweet JRT/Westie mix girl who is happy, lively and just 1-year, weighing just 12 pounds. Her look is a charming wiry coat paired with an absolutely darling personality. She enjoys leash walks, watching the world go by, and will happily investigate any squirrel bold enough to cross her path. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and is friendly with men she meets out in public. Inside the home, however, Shania needs a very specific setup to feel safe and secure. Due to something in her past, she becomes protective if a man lives in the home and believes she must guard the woman she loves. Because of this, Shania needs a female-only household with no men living in the home. In the right environment, she relaxes, settles beautifully, and shows just how loving and joyful she truly is. She is currently working on potty training and does well using potty pads, and with continued consistency, she will keep improving. Shania is small, affectionate, and full of potential — she simply needs the right person who understands her and is willing to give her the peaceful, predictable home she deserves. 📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. 🩷 Rescue Story Ongal was admitted to "Jeongeup City Shelter" in very poor condition, with her coat badly matted and tangled. She spent her days clinging to the shelter environment, clearly overwhelmed. Thankfully, she was rescued before things worsened and moved into a foster home, where she has been able to recover both physically and emotionally. In a safe setting, her bright and lively personality has begun to shine. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Ongal gets along well with other dogs and is currently living harmoniously with a Pomeranian and a Pomeranian mix. She enjoys canine companionship and would do well in a multi-dog household, especially with dogs of similar size or age. With people, she needs only a brief moment to warm up—after about ten seconds of observation, one treat is usually all it takes for her to become friendly and engaged. Her compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Ongal may pull slightly on the leash at first, but her walking is easily manageable and improves quickly once boundaries are clearly communicated. She responds well to guidance and understands verbal cues. Her shedding level is moderate, around 5 out of 10. She has no food allergies and eats very well. She strongly prefers outdoor potty breaks and will often hold her bathroom needs if she doesn’t get a walk. 🏡 Habits & Training Ongal is comfortable with grooming and does well during baths and professional grooming sessions. She does not have separation anxiety and is crate trained, staying calm and relaxed even when separated in her own space. She may bark briefly when deliveries arrive, but she settles down quickly afterward. She rides well in the car and does not experience motion sickness. 💛 Likes & Personality Ongal loves tug-of-war games and enjoys running and playing with her dog friends. She does not like sudden approaches, so calm and gentle introductions are best. A home with other dogs of similar size or age would be a great match for her. Sassy is sweet, and not at all sassy! Rather, she is even-tempered and calm. Her foster says that Sassy is housetrained and likes to follow her around, so she knows where she is at all times. Sassy is a older girl who loves to be at home with her person, but is also comfortable being left for a bit so she can rest and take a welcome nap! Sassy enjoys walks and adventures, including car rides. Her foster says that Sassy needs to be able to look out the window on her rides! Sassy is a bit of a finicky eater, who prefers soft food over kibble. That is the only instance where Sassy makes her desires known. Outside of her desire for soft food, Sassy is easygoing, quiet, and very happy to have her person/people around. Sassy does not sleep in a crate and she is happy to doze on the floor or a sofa. She is okay with her person being in and out, or out of the home for a time. However, Sassy will likely do best in a home where there is someone is around consistently. She does not like dogs that rush toward her suddenly. With polite, cautious dogs, she may occasionally greet and coexist peacefully, but she is selective about canine interactions. She is generally wary of cats and is not expected to coexist comfortably with them. With children and adults, she shows no aggression or dislike. When encountering people on walks, she tends to remain neutral and uninterested rather than reactive. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Waltz follows an outdoor-focused potty routine.
