Marigold may take a moment to warm up, but give her a little time and she'll steal your heart completely. This petite 14-pound Yorkie mix is a young mama whose puppies have all gone off to find their families — and now, it's finally her turn. In her foster home, Marigold grows more confident every single day. She's learning that the world is a safe and loving place, and as she settles in, her sweet, gentle personality truly shines. She shares her foster home peacefully with several cats and even a 100-pound dog — who she absolutely adores — proving just how adaptable and big-hearted this little girl really is. Marigold is still working on house training and basic commands, but she's eager to please and will flourish with a patient, caring family ready to guide her. Her small size and tender nature make her a wonderful fit for a wide variety of homes. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, current on preventatives, and heartworm negative — ready in every way to start her next chapter. All she needs now is someone to show her she's finally, truly home. If you have a little patience and a lot of love, Marigold has been waiting for you. The adoption fee for this dog is $550 https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Dog If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.***

Story
Duke is an active and lovable senior dog. He will ride in the car, picnic, short walks. He’s not a starter dog but he’s going to be exactly what is needed for the right person at the right time like he was for me for the season of life we shared. He needs his person present. Duke has separation anxiety and does best in a home where somebody is actually there.A good routine and socialization will keep him youthful but he is not a runner. Once Duke knows where home is, he is committed. His eyes need daily attention. Creams and whatnot. He enjoys the attention from anyone with the time to give him some also he could use some solid re-potty training. Schedules help!He will come with everything I have for him including a crate, sweaters, bowls, food, snacks, and toys. Come meet Duke.I am willing to travel for a confirmed adopter (within a 4 hour radius of Washington, DC)🐾

Story
Somewhere between a cartoon character, a tiny gentleman, and a living stuffed animal… there’s Toofers. This 1-year-old Schnauzer/Yorkie mix weighs in at 13 pounds of pure charm, questionable hairstyle choices, and unstoppable enthusiasm for life. Between his fabulous little head tufts and that absolutely irresistible underbite, Toofers looks like he walked straight out of a children’s movie. And honestly? He seems pretty pleased about it. Toofers came to rescue as a frightened little stray from Howard County, completely overwhelmed at the shelter. But once he landed in foster care, his personality came bursting out — and now he’s convinced the world exists primarily for fun. His favorite activity? Causing tiny amounts of chaos with his foster buddy, Arnold Schnauzer. The two of them zoom around like they’ve just discovered friendship, snacks, and happiness all at the same time. Toofers is sweet, playful, and deeply affectionate, but he’s also reached that perfect balance where he enjoys adventures and playtime… followed immediately by serious couch snuggling. He is housebroken, crate trained, and would thrive in a home that enjoys a moderately active lifestyle but also appreciates the importance of blankets and quality lounging. If you’ve been searching for a dog with: • maximum personality • excellent comedic facial expressions • permanent bedhead • and one of the cutest underbites known to mankind… Toofers is waiting to meet you.Toofers is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Meet Iggy — a tiny gentleman with a big heart and plenty of pep in his step! Iggy currently lives peacefully with cats and does great with them. With slow, proper introductions, he can also live happily with other pets. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and overall in good health. This sweet little guy is ready for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and companionship. Story
📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. **Name:** Cotton **Sex:** Male (Neutered) **Age:** Approx. 4 years old **Breed:** Mixed **Weight:** 5.4 kg (approx. 12 lbs) **Vaccinations:** Up to date **Health Status:** Cotton has completed treatment for heartworm and has fully recovered. He previously suffered from severe urinary stones and suspected gallbladder stones, and has since successfully undergone urinary stone treatment and gallbladder removal surgery. He is currently stable and healthy. A possible protein allergy is suspected, so he is maintained on a prescription hypoallergenic diet. **Rescue Story** Cotton was living in a high-kill shelter and was placed on the euthanasia list. At the time, the shelter advertised him as being around 2 years old, so a private rescuer believed he was a young, healthy dog and pulled him from the shelter. However, during a veterinary examination, Cotton was determined to be closer to 4 years old and was diagnosed with severe urinary stones and suspected gallbladder disease, requiring extensive and costly treatment. Facing the overwhelming medical expenses, the rescuer felt unable to continue and considered returning Cotton to the shelter where euthanasia was still imminent. Unable to let him face that fate again, a private sanctuary intervened and took full responsibility for his care. Cotton underwent all necessary treatments, including urinary stone management, gallbladder removal surgery, and heartworm treatment. He has now fully completed his medical care and is ready to start a new chapter in a loving home. **Personality & Behavior** Cotton is a gentle, sensitive boy with a calm and observant nature. He enjoys human companionship and will happily approach adults and children to sniff and greet, but he does not appreciate sudden or startling movements. * **With cats:** He becomes timid and cautious around cats * **With dogs:** He may bark at dogs larger than himself. With smaller dogs, he will briefly sniff and then politely avoid them. A calm single-dog home or a well-managed multi-dog home would be ideal. * **With people:** Friendly and affectionate, but prefers respectful interactions **Daily Life** * **Leash manners:** Generally good. He may pull a bit when excited but remains controllable. He has a tendency to pick up food from the ground, so attentive leash handling is important. * **House training:** Fully house-trained. He marks outdoors during walks but does not eliminate indoors. * **Separation anxiety:** None * **Barking:** Minimal. He may briefly bark if someone is outside the door or if a stranger enters the home. **Likes & Dislikes** * **Loves:** Toys, treats, and going for walks * **Dislikes:** Being startled and walking in the rain --- **Diet** Cotton is currently on a hypoallergenic diet due to suspected protein allergies. He loves treats more than kibble, so consistent dietary management will be important to prevent weight gain. **Ideal Home** Cotton would thrive in a calm, structured home with guardians who understand gentle handling and are mindful of his medical history and dietary needs. He is not demanding, adapts well to routine, and will make a steady, loyal companion. **Personality in three words:** Easygoing, perceptive, shy-but-sweet 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: - International transportation - Customs and export documentation - Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
