Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!   Hi hi, it’s me… Bart. I’m a 4 year old, Yorkie boy with a quiet heart and a very gentle soul. I’m on the shy side and a little nervous at first, but once I know you’re kind and safe, I’m the sweetest, calmest little guy. I don’t need a loud or busy life — I’m much happier in a peaceful home where things move slowly and voices stay soft. I’m fully crate trained, potty trained (still working on a bit of marking), leash trained, and very respectful in the house. No chewing, no chaos — just naps, cozy spots, and hanging out near my people. I startle easily, so I really appreciate when you talk to me before you come close. Once I know you’re there, I melt into affection. I may be partially blind, so shadows and sudden movements can be scary, but outside I do great. Sniffing around the yard is one of my favorite things. I get along well with small dogs and would love a calm dog sibling (not required, but I’d be happy). I enjoy short, relaxed walks and I am absolutely not a morning dog. Water first, breakfast later. What makes me special is my calm, sweet nature and the quiet love I give once I feel safe. I don’t rush into hearts — I gently settle into them. My ideal forever home would be a small, calm family with adults or respectful kids over 10, a fenced yard to explore, and a low-traffic, peaceful environment. I would do best with someone patient who will help me continue building confidence and keep working on potty habits. A friendly dog sibling would be a bonus. Adoption FEE: $500 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE:  www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information.  DOG ADOPTION PROCESS: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFP/Dog CAT ADOPTION PROCESS: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFP/Cat

Story
Meet Krackel, Cadbury & Lindor 🍫💛 These three sweet souls are part of a group of 10 small dogs we recently rescued from a heartbreaking situation. They spent their early lives confined to crates under a carport and inside a metal shed, with very little human interaction and no experience with leashes or life indoors. Because of that, the world is still a little scary—but their hearts are very much open. Krackel (the tiniest scruffy girl) weighs just 9 lbs, while Cadbury (a taller gray scruffy girl) and Lindor (a white and tan scruffy boy) are each about 12 lbs. All three are right around a year old. Though timid at first, they want to trust. They gently approach for affection, happily accept treats, and show us every day that they’re ready to keep learning—at their pace. They are sweet, sensitive dogs who will thrive in calm, patient homes with people willing to let trust grow naturally. Once they feel safe, their affection is incredibly rewarding 💕 Their ideal home: - No young children (they’re not aggressive—just scared of loud, fast movements) - Ability to safely crate them if young kids visit - Another friendly dog to help build confidence - A quiet, secure environment - A solid fenced yard is strongly preferred - Krackel & Lindor may do okay in an apartment or townhome with very secure leash routines - Cadbury is the most fearful and truly needs a calm home with a fenced yard They are all: ✔️ Spayed/neutered ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Heartworm negative 📍 Located in Sarasota, FL 💲 Adoption fee: $300 each *** We will discount the adoption fees for anyone that will adopt a pair. These little ones have been through so much, but they are ready to write a new chapter—with their people and new dog besties. If you believe love, patience, and consistency can change a life (or three), they’d love to meet you. Application: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt
