Story
Meet Jamie! This tiny, 2yr old, 3 legged 6lb sweet female yorkie is looking for a new home. She is very very very active. She's great for haircuts, baths, walks, and playing. She barks when she first meets folks then settles down. She is scared of men but we are working on that. She needs a yard to have zoomies in many times a day. She's an in charge lady with cats and dogs. Jamie does need a patient and special needs friendly home. She is incontinent and therefore needs a routines schedule and someone to help her maintain good hygiene. Our adoption applications are on our website: WWW.ANIMALLUVRS.ORG All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org. ##1952401##

Story
Gio is a 7yr old Shorkie. Gio loves people and cuddles. He also loves belly rubs. He is crate trained but the only time he is in a crate is if he is being left alone for over 4 hours. He loves to sleep with his humans if possible. He is good with older dogs but does not care for young ones with a lot of energy. He is calm and mellow and doesn't bark much. Gio is missing a few teeth so his cute little tongue will hang out sometimes. He is currently on soft food or homemade dog food. He will make someone a great companion dog. We are located in Land O Lakes FL and a house visit is required so we ask that you live in Hillsborough or Pasco County when requesting information.

COOPER / SEMINOLE DOB: 06/30/2020 Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Mix Weight : 12 lbs Gender: Male House trained: Yes, as long as I get out often. Location: Seminole, FL Color: Blonde Gets along with cats: No Gets along with Dogs : Yes – similar sized and submissive – BUT NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY DOG IN THE HOME Fenced Yard: Yes, required attached to home and secured on all sides… no exceptions. ADULT MALE ONLY or very patient female home, no kiddos or Seniors PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO !! Hello World! Much has gone on in my life in the past few months. Mostly, the visit from my foster aunt has made me a bit of a ladies man. Don’t get me wrong, I still prefer the company of men, since I am a little toughie. At least that is what my foster mom tells me. However, the softer lap is definitely more comfortable. Plus the ladies seem to give longer belly rubs and I like that too. My leash walks are also much more fun now that I have a pack to roam the neighborhood together. My foster mom says I still might have a set back on occasion, but my behavior is much improved. So if you are in the market for a little project, I just might be the pup for you. We would consider a couple, but with that Female need to be extremely patient. Ideally a single human home. and the rest of the story Any incomplete application will NOT be processed. You should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give your permission for us to speak with them to gather the necessary information we need to process any applications. Failure to do so will result in your application being closed. Hello there, It’s me Cooper ( you may remember me from earlier cuz’ I’m still lookin’ for my forever person) I’m a 3 year old extremely handsome terrier mix boy. I have been told I am a member in good standing of the He-Man Woman Hater Club and am looking for a Daddy that has a lifestyle that allows me to keep my good standing. For some crazy reason, I just don’t get along with the lovely female human type. (I don’t really hate them, just not for me!) I have no clue why, but hey, we all have our own “quirks”, right? As a terrier, I have requirements that must be met by my future Daddy. First, I must be the center of your universe. I love life as long as I get all the attention, so NO CHILDREN and NO OTHER PETS. In return, I will make you the center of my universe, snuggling and cuddling with you. Second, I require my Daddy to be a homebody, either work from home and/or retired as I am afflicted with separation anxiety. Third, I must be exercised on a very regular basis. I know that I really need an active Daddy and I also require a secured fenced in yard in a single family home (sorry, no townhomes, condos, manufactured homes and no rentals.) I know that’s going to eliminate some great Dads, but it’s what’s bestest for me. I might be little, but I require a lot of room to stretch my legs as I like to zoom, zoom, zoom throughout the back yard. It is my job to keep all predators out of the back yard and I am excellent at my job, if I do say so myself. Fourth, Bones and Toys!!!! I enjoy chewing on bones and playing with my toys. Fifth, lottsa love and patience!!! I am a good boy when all my requirements are fulfilled, which is mostly LOVE. I will also require regular grooming, so please keep that in mind. I share my current foster home with “Big Daddy” he sets all the rules here, and guess what? I’m a better boy for it. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention! So, anywho, I just want to mention, and not to be mean or disrespectful, but if you don’t meet all my needs, please don’t apply for me. There are some other great pups in our rescue that might fit into your home better. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. Applications that don’t meet my requirements will be not be processed and will be closed. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me (might be the best decision of your life!) I really really hope my new Daddy is out there looking for his best boy, me! Cooper! Standard Adoption Requirements: You must be a resident of FL., and be at least 25 years of age. This breed typically lives 14-18 years, so keep his lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting. Your age should be appropriate for Coopers estimated lifespan. World! Pixie / Holiday JUNE 29, 2024 BY VIP RESCUE STAFF (EDIT) Pixie / Holiday AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!! viprescue.org Dob: 10-20-19 Breed: Yorkie / Terrier Mix Weight: 18 lbs currently Gender: Female House Trained: yes, as long as she is let out often Location: Holiday FL Good with other dogs: Yes Good with kids: Yes, 8+ Color: Cream Hi everyone! My name is Pixie. I’m thought to be a 4 year old Yorkie Chihuahua mix, although my foster parents struggle to see the Chihuahua. Honestly it doesn’t matter to me because I’m just so adorable. I know you’ll fall in love with me the minute you meet me. I came to VIP Rescue because my mother moved and couldn’t take me with her. For some strange reason her new home doesn’t allow dogs. I don’t understand, but I’m adaptable and will make myself at home no matter who adopts me. I sure feel comfortable in my temporary home, and I’m sure I’ll take to my new permanent home just fine. Currently I’m a bit overweight at 18 pounds, but my foster parents have already started a new feeding regime to help me lose weight. It would be best if you could help keep me on track to get to a healthy weight. I know if you take me for walks, which I love, and play with me outside I’ll be fit and trim in no time at all! You should know that some loud noises do make me afraid. I really don’t like thunder and fireworks also make me anxious, but I’m willing to snuggle to help me get through it if you will let me. Of course I always love to snuggle, so that should not be a problem. I’m potty trained, assuming I am taken out regularly and of course, a fenced yard is a plus! I would love a home with another mild-mannered dog or respectful kid(s) that I can play with. I am very sweet and have a happy tail. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and humans of any age. Just show me love and I’ll happily reciprocate. I’ve been spayed, am current on all vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm and flea medication. Got to stay safe, you know. If you’re interested in adopting me, please fill out an application online at www.viprescue.org. I hope to meet you soon! Love and tail wags, Your friend, Pixie Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 14-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsMacon Macon is the youngest and spunkiest member of our #boiledpeanuts gang. When they were left locked in a hot car, Macon was inside the cab of the truck with a window cracked, just roasting away. Fortunately, because a group of caring and determined volunteers diligently advocated for them, we rescued Macon and his furry friends before tragedy befell. Since then, Macon has come into his own. He’s been with other small dogs who have shown him the ropes and taught him all about what it’s like to have fun, cut up, and be a puppy! Macon’s being neutered - yay for spay and neuter day! - and he’s now ready to find his forever. He’s healed physically AND emotionally in the short time we’ve had him. It’s wonderful to see him bounce back and be the confident, energetic, fearless and carefree puppy he should be! In a forever home, Macon will need a playful doggie friend for sure. He’s also good with kitties but a dog is a must. A home with kids will need to be teens, minimum. He’s very tiny and precarious and while he looks like a stuffed animal, we want to make sure he’s safe since he’s “real”. He’s also a bolter… so the folks in his forever home will need to be able to work on him with that bad habit but also capable of stopping him and preventing escape while he learns. If you meet Macon’s requirements, and are interested in meeting him, please apply @ maxxandme.orgAdoption fee is $600 all puppies adopted from Maxx&Me are required to undergo basic obedience training within the first six months after adoption    {Macon is a black Maltese, 8 months old approx, and 7.5 pounds as of 7/11/24}July 26, 2024, 11:37 am
