Hi hi, it’s me… Bart.
I’m a 4 year old, Yorkie boy with a quiet heart and a very gentle soul.
I’m on the shy side and a little nervous at first, but once I know you’re kind and safe, I’m the sweetest, calmest little guy. I don’t need a loud or busy life — I’m much happier in a peaceful home where things move slowly and voices stay soft.
I’m fully crate trained, potty trained (still working on a bit of marking), leash trained, and very respectful in the house. No chewing, no chaos — just naps, cozy spots, and hanging out near my people.
I startle easily, so I really appreciate when you talk to me before you come close. Once I know you’re there, I melt into affection. I may be partially blind, so shadows and sudden movements can be scary, but outside I do great. Sniffing around the yard is one of my favorite things.
I get along well with small dogs and would love a calm dog sibling (not required, but I’d be happy). I enjoy short, relaxed walks and I am absolutely not a morning dog. Water first, breakfast later.
What makes me special is my calm, sweet nature and the quiet love I give once I feel safe. I don’t rush into hearts — I gently settle into them.
My ideal forever home would be a small, calm family with adults or respectful kids over 10, a fenced yard to explore, and a low-traffic, peaceful environment. I would do best with someone patient who will help me continue building confidence and keep working on potty habits. A friendly dog sibling would be a bonus.
Adoption FEE: $500 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.
