She was found dumped and abandoned on a dirt country road in rural Missouri.   Pattycake is looking for a quiet home with no young children, a secure fenced yard, and a small calm dog for companionship. Pattycake has a urinary medical condition that will require a special prescription dog food for the rest of her life, along with a urinalysis every 3 months to monitor this condition throughout her life.   She is current on her immunizations, heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and she has recently had her teeth cleaned along with multiple extractions.   If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Meet Loki Doki, 2 yr old, 10 lb, Yorkshire Terrier!  Loki needs another dog in the family and fenced yard. Loki has made such good progress.  He is a sweet loving little guy. ( He was abused and dumped by his family. He was terrified. He still has issues with being scared but trusts his persons whole heartedly.) He gets along with dogs and kids, not sure about cats. He needs to be babied with a lot of attention.   He plays well with other dogs so a companion is needed . He has separation anxiety but he’s doing much better. He’ll get better with time.   He wears a disposable belly band when alone for a while in home. He would do best with someone home most of the time.   Loki loves to romp and play in his fenced in yard.   He requires a lot of love and patience. **The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue, is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required. We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog. Adoption Application link: https://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html ** Fleya was part of a hoarding situation when she came to rescue with 3 other dogs. Our best breed guess is a Min Pin-Yorkie mix. She is about 4 years old. It takes her a little time to warm up and trust everyone. She does okay with other dogs but might do best as an only pet. We don't recommend she go to a home with children. She has not been cat tested. She could be a flight risk, and in fact, she did escape during transport but was recovered safely. She was never leash/collar trained, so a securely fenced-in yard is a must! Fley (Flee-ya) has been fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. Located in St. Louis, her adoption fee is $275.

Story

Louie is a great boy! He just deserves a place where he can run around and have fun with other dogs. Preferably someone with a fenced in backyard that’s bigger than what we have here. He has been around other dogs but gets intimidated by dogs bigger than him. He is a Yorkie so he does bark a lot. He does occasionally have accidents in the house if kept indoors for long periods of time. He loves giving kisses but hates getting kissed back, which is how I get him to stop kissing me after awhile lol.
