Story
Hi! My name is Homer. I am a sweet guy who might jump right into your arms and have you fall in love with me. I just like to get out for walks or explore the yard. I like to roll around the yard on a sunny day and maybe play with a toy or 2. I do fine with other dogs and kids. I do need to see if I like cats or not. I will be ready soon for my new home.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Adoption Fee: $450.00 Meet this sweet and energetic Yorkie Terrier! He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and kids. If you have space for him to run, he’ll be in heaven—he loves to zoom around the field and comes right back when called. &#226&#156&#133 House-trained: Uses a dog door to access a fenced yard, no accidents after the first day.&#226&#156&#133 No kennel life: He’s happiest snuggling and sleeping with his person.&#226&#156&#133 Personality: Affectionate, playful, and loves being part of the family. He’s the perfect companion for someone with room to roam and lots of love to give. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
