This sweet Shih Tzu mix with beautiful, flowing hair is 2 years old and ready to find his forever home. Georgie is looking for an experienced owner with plenty of patience and understanding. He’s come from a challenging situation, so he needs someone who will give him the time and space to build trust at his own pace. He can be a little shy at first—especially around men—but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate side shines through. Georgie loves gentle ear and chin scratches and will happily soak up all the love you offer. He does great with other dogs and cats, and in the right environment, he would thrive with another dog of similar size to be his companion and playmate. Georgie requires a home with a fenced in yard and no young children. With the right person and a calm, supportive home, this special boy will blossom into a loyal and loving best friend. Georgie is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Georgie’s adoption fee is $350.00. This little one is Juno , a busy yorkie /doxie mix that we guess is about two years old. Juno is good with small dogs but can be bossy with some large dogs. We are looking for a home for him that gives him lots of outings and walks and burns some of his terrier energy off. He is a great lap dog when his exercise requirements are met. He is well crate trained and loves to leash walk . We do not know how he is with small children . Adoption application is at stlsdp.org.
