Meet Chili! 🌶️❤️ This tiny 6-pound, 10+ year old Yorkie is as sweet and snuggly as they come. Chili’s whole world changed when his owner had to move into assisted living, and sadly no family members could take him. Now he’s hoping for a loving foster or forever home where he can feel safe and cherished again. Chili is a gentle little soul who loves to be held and adored. He’s great with other dogs and would be perfectly happy to share his home with a calm companion. He has a cataract in one eye, but it doesn’t slow him down or dampen his sweet personality. He’ll also be getting a dental cleaning when he’s neutered to help him feel his very best. If you have room in your heart for a senior sweetheart, Chili would love nothing more than to be someone’s treasured companion again.

Meet Lily! Lily is a sweet 2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier/Corgi mix with a beautiful white and red coat, weighing about 12 lbs. She was recently rescued from a hoarding situation, where she became a devoted mom about three and a half months ago. Despite her rough start, Lily’s gentle spirit shines through, and now that her puppies are safe, it’s finally her turn to be cherished. This little lady can be a bit skittish at first, but once she feels secure she’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loyal. She loves to stay close to her human, whether she’s exploring, relaxing, or snuggling in her foster mom’s lap. She is working hard on her potty training and learning to walk on a leash. Lily also enjoys sleeping in the big bed with her foster mom, where she feels safe and content. She will also sleep quietly in her crate at night, if needed. After spending her early life raising puppies in difficult circumstances, she deserves a patient adopter who will help her socialize, build confidence, and discover the joy of simply being a happy little dog. Because she can be shy and startle easily, Lily would do best in a very calm home without small children. A home with other dogs may be possible and will be determined on a case-by-case basis. She will also need a fenced yard so she can safely play, exercise, and continue blossoming. Lily is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative (and on monthly preventative), microchipped, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $350. Out-of-state adopters are welcome, but please note that transport must be arranged by the adopter — WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. Charlie is a sweet 3-year-old guy who just needs a little time and patience to feel safe with new people. Once he trusts you, he becomes the most loyal companion—your shadow, your buddy, and your biggest fan. He’ll gladly follow you everywhere with his gentle devotion. Charlie is doing great with his potty training and loves spending time in a fenced yard, especially if there are squirrels to chase! He rides well in the car and would do fine either as the only dog or with another calm canine friend. He’s still working on his leash-walking skills and hasn’t shown interest in toys, but he makes up for it with his affectionate nature. Because he can be a barker, Charlie would not be a good fit for apartment living. He also needs a home without small children. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you deeply once he feels safe, Charlie might be the perfect match. All he needs is someone willing to give him the time and space to flourish. He does great with other dogs and cats, and in the right environment, he would thrive with another dog of similar size to be his companion and playmate.
