Oreo and Teddy have been together for over 6 years and we would prefer they be adopted together. They are cute boys who have moved around a lot in the last year. Teddy is a little more outgoing and loves buttscratches! He does like to bark too! Oreo and Teddy are friendly with other dogs and love to play with toys. They walk well on a leash. They have been fixed, microchipped and they are up to date on vaccines.  They are heartworm negative.  The adoption fee for the pair is $500.   How to Adopt Me! Evie is an adorable, little lady who is looking for a home. Evie is in a NJ foster home and is doing better every day.  Evie came to us from the NYC shelter system where she was surrendered along with 5 siblings from the same litter. Evie is dog friendly and an affectionate lap pup ONCE she gets to know and trust you.  Evie loves to snuggle up to her foster mom, but it took a few days before that happened. Evie appears to have had no training, no  socialization and no exposure to the outside prior to coming to NJ.  She was super scared and nervous when she first arrived so we just ignored her until she was ready to come to us ... and eventually she did.  Evie is still nervous and barky with new people and not at all comfortable with men but after a few days (as long as they ignore her) she will be in the same room.  I do believe that she will continue to gain confidence and trust over time. Evie requires an adopter who will be patient, gentle and kind to her.  She will initially NOT go to you but after a few days, she will be attached to a woman.  Once Evie becomes comfortable she is super loving, playful, sill y and will often get the zoomies.  It is imperative that Evie have doggie siblings - she is a pack dog and derives great comfort from her canine foster sister.  Without another dog she has terrible separation anxiety and becomes overly stressed.  Pups around her age and size are preferred. No children please. Evie does NOT have accidents in the house; however, I would NOT say that she is house-trained. We go out about every 3 hours during the day and once overnight.  We are currently trying to identify whether it is behavioral or medical.  We've ruled out a UTI and urinary bladder stones, but her urine did indicate a lot of crystals.  The vet just recently prescribed a urinary care diet for her, so we are hoping that will help.  It also may be that she is just over indulging in her drinking as this could be the first time she has had free access to fresh water.  We will update as needed.  Evie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm, and she just had a dental. ADOPT TIGER!! Tiger’s a 13yo 11lb Yorkipoo. He’s small dog friendly and if other dogs they need to be well balanced and trained. He’s house trained when kept on a schedule. He enjoys his fosters fenced in yard along with going for walks. He needs time to warm up and trust his people and when he does he can be very loving and cuddle with his people on the couch. Despite his age, he plays like a puppy, loves chasing balls and playing with other toys. He needs leadership, structure and training so he does not have to be the protector and his human will be. Tiger MUST have a calm structured home with NO kids and people to show him patience, leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working with him on his training. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Mopsy is an independent pup that holds her own. She is often found wrestling or snuggling with her siblings. She is adorable!! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract.
