Story
Meet Freedom (Free Free), a delightful 1.5-year-old Yorkie with a heart full of joy. At 12.4 lbs, she's a bundle of energy, always ready to play or cuddle. Freedom is not just playful; she's also smart and curious, always eager to explore her surroundings. She does require a fenced-in yard. She's house and crate trained, and loves sleeping on the bed, promising sweet dreams and comfort. Her loyalty and funny antics will keep you entertained. She loves to be with you and will follow you everywhere you might go! Adopt Freedom and discover a faithful friend who brings laughter and love. She has had vaccinations to date, a wellness check, heartworm negative, preventive, rabies, and a microchip. She is scheduled to be spayed at our Veterinary on April 14, which is included in the adoption fee. To apply, the person must be at least 21 years of age. All other pets in the home must be up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and on preventatives. (Unless there is a medical condition.) Veterinary checks will be conducted. Fosters are part of the family. We do not adopt where the foster will be kept outside in a lot or tied up. (Louie Blue Rescue has the final say on all adoptions of our fosters. Story
Bj is a great dog, before I got him I was told he had a hard past with his previous breeder so I wouldn’t recommend a home with a pet all ready. I have had him now for almost two years and all he wants to do is follow me around, get his belly rubbed, and ride in the car with his head out the window. Bj is 8yrs old and still full of energy, if you have a back yard or love long walks he’s perfect. Bj will do great with a home with or without kids. Bj was purchased from a foster who was giving to her from a family member, if my wife and I was moving to a place that except pets, we keep him.

Story
My name is Piper and I am the cutest little thing. I love everyone. I love to kiss and kiss and kiss. I love to be held. I am playful with people and learning to play with dog toys and other dogs. So far I get along with all dogs but get nervous a bit with large dogs. My rescue was told that I could not walk due to a bump on my back. I was found tied to a bench with a diaper on. After seeing my new vet and arriving at my new foster home, not only can I walk but I can run. I may have a wonky gait but I am getting stronger. Our vet said I most likely have a birth defect where my spine has a strange formation causing the lump on my back. I still need diapers because I cannot control my pee and poop. It just pushes out by itself. The good news is it comes out on its own. In spite of my special needs, I am happy and bouncy and oh so loving. If you can embrace my special needs and my awesome personality, I may be the dog for you. I would love a home with another same sized dog. I will need to have my diapers change but do well with that. I would love a fenced in yard so I know I am safe outside. I would love to go places with you. I ride well in the car. I am just perfect. If you have room in your heart and your arms and lap, please apply for me at safeanimalhaven.orgNovember 5, 2024, 12:12 am
