Nini is a gentle, 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who lives for cozy moments with her people. She loves snuggling up on the couch, relaxing beside her humans, and being part of the daily routine. On walks, she sometimes barks at things she’s unsure about, but it comes more from curiosity than fear—and once she feels secure, she settles easily. She’s incredibly sweet with strangers and has been calm and friendly around a baby.   Nini is fully housetrained, great in the car, and has no history of biting or destructive behaviour. While she previously lived with another dog, she began to resource guard, so an only-dog home may be the best match for her comfort and peace. Her energy level is moderate: she’s always happy to join you for a nice walk, but she’s equally content curling up beside you afterward.   If you’re looking for a loving, calm, snuggly senior companion with lots of life and affection still to give, Nini might be the perfect addition to your home.  December 14, 2025, 9:03 am

QUICK FACTS Name: Lingling Age: Around 10 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Yorkshire Terrier mix Color: Beige Weight: 6.6kg / 14.3lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was placed in a city pound due to lack of space and was waiting for euthanasia, but kindness found me just in time. Thanks to a timely rescue, I was given a second chance at life. Now I’m safe, full of hope, and ready to find the forever family I’ve been dreaming of.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues Teeth cleaning done in May 2025   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet, calm older gal who truly enjoys the simple joys of life. I don’t ask for much — just a cozy bed, some quiet moments, and the comfort of my personal space. I’d thrive in a home that isn’t looking for high-energy puppy antics, but instead values a relaxed and peaceful companion. I’m a chill girl who is very tolerant of handling, whether it’s nail grooming or baths. I get along well with people and calm dog friends, making me the perfect low-key, loving companion for the right family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but with a tasty treat, I warm up quickly. I’m happy to let new people pick me up and pet me once I feel comfortable. I tend to be calm and reserved when meeting new friends — no over-the-top excitement here — but I greet everyone gently and enjoy forming steady, relaxed bonds with adults who appreciate my mellow nature. · With Dogs: I get along well with the dogs at the care facility, though high-energy pups can sometimes overwhelm me. Overall, I’m pretty independent and enjoy doing my own thing. Because of this, I’d thrive best as the only dog in a home, or with a calm, older dog sibling who respects my space and lets me enjoy my peace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged to ensure the best fit! With my mellow nature, I will most likely do well with dog-savvy cats and thoughtful introductions.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I’m a simple, easygoing gal who loves the calm life. There’s nothing I enjoy more than relaxing, snuggling up, and being a total couch potato — the perfect companion for quiet, cozy moments.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk best in quieter areas, as loud and busy streets can be a bit overwhelming for me. With continued guidance and patience, I’m learning to gain confidence on walks. I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs, and I’m a very quiet pup who rarely barks. I prefer to potty outdoors and know how to rest calmly in my kennel, making me a relaxed and easygoing companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that understands my rough past and is patient with me throughout. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever. Ideally, a home where I’ll be an only dog. A family that can match and understand my mellow energy and a quiet environment.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a Level 2 rescue dog, which means I may need a few days to a week to fully settle into a new home. I’m a sweet, calm girl who doesn’t ask for much — just a loving family to share my days with. Don’t let my older age hold you back! I’m healthy, smart, and full of love, and I know the perfect family is out there waiting for me.   Lingling's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2610017##
