My sweet girl needs a new home with caring and attentive parents that can care for her. She is quiet, loving, affectionate, she is great to be around, she is tiny but protective, very alert and smart, she simply needs love and attention. She is cleaned and groomed, spayed and neutered and microchipped, she needs her annual shots and a loving home. I am too busy with my work schedule that I can not spend as much time to care for her as I want to. Requirements: Veterinarian References & Landlord References. Her adoption fee is $350.00. Little Lyndi has been with us for a week now. She is a sweetheart! Settled in nicely with my 2 other girls. She follows around with them but has no interest in playing with toys. Working on housebreaking but it is a slow process. Trying to get her on a schedule and associate certain actions (like going to the back door)with having to go out. She does not do stairs so outside potty breaks need to be supervised. At night I have been putting her in her doggy playpen. She quickly settles in and sleeps through the nite. Her appetite is great. She needs a soft diet because she unfortunately does not have many teeth. We are at this time working on some minor medical issues with my veterinarian but hoping that soon she will be feeling 100%. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Bruno is available for adoption. He is 8 years old and weighs 11 lbs His adoption fee is $600.00.   Meet Bruno, an 8-year-old, 11 lb. Morkie (Yorkie & Maltese mix) who is eager to find his forever home! Don't let his age fool you because Bruno has plenty of energy. He loves to play, but it comes in short spurts.    Bruno's favorite time of day is his daily walk where he loves to stop and see all of his new neighbors. His foster parents are working on his leash manners and he is showing lots of improvement in a short period of time. Once he burns off his energy on the walk, Bruno is a pretty lazy and chill guy. Bruno's forever family will need to provide him with daily exercise.  He does great when left alone and sleeps through the night without any issues. Bruno is doing exceptional with potty breaks, even letting his foster Mom know when he needs to go outside. He does kindly ask for table food which is a habit his foster parents are working on with him. His new family will need to be patient and continue devoting time to this. Used to being the only dog in the house, Bruno is perfectly content by himself or in the company of other dogs. He would do well in a home with children who are willing to give him plenty of belly rubs and attention.   Bruno will be available for adoption in May after his veterinary care is complete. If you’re looking for a housemate that is the perfect mix of energetic and laid back, Bruno is your guy! Bruno is staying with Matt and Sarah in Reading, PA. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Misty is available for adoption. She is 2 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $900.00. Introducing Misty!       She’s a sweet, gentle, loving, Yorkie /Cairn terrier mix.     She’s two years old and weighs about 7 pounds. She’s very playful and loves laying under the dining room table with all her toys around her. She also loves snuggling on the couch and will look straight into your eyes as you scratch her back. Unfortunately Misty has a broken leg.     Her owner couldn’t afford the surgery needed to repair the leg so she was surrendered to SAYR.     We brought Misty to the orthopedic surgeon at Valley Central for a consult and surgery. The bone was reset and is now held together with a plate and pins       Misty is resting and recovering and we’ll see her surgeon in two weeks for a recheck.    P.S. the photo of Misty with the grey leopard cast on her front left leg was taken after her surgery. Dupris is part of a bonded pair of Yorkies and will have to be adopted with his brother Deno. He is 6 years old and weighs 9 lbs. The adoption fee for both dogs is $800.00. Dupris and Deno came to us the day after our last foster left.    It is a treat for us to have a bonded pair and to watch them play and cavort together.     Deno is the more outgoing of the two and he laps up attention and loves to lick faces.    Dupris is less sure of novelty but has adjusted well and appears quite at home on our chaise lounge.    They were surrendered because of illnesses in their family and had been home alone for a while before they came to us so they were a bit rambunctious at first. In the beginning, I kept them crated when I went out but the past few days I have left them without crating them and they have behaved very well and greeted me warmly when I got home.   Dupris and Deno are staying with Sam in Pittsburgh, PA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 27, 2025, 10:52 pm
