Story
Meet Jose Caballero Amigo! He is currently 4 months old, and we think he may be a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix- a Chorkie!- but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Jose loves to be around people and a snuggler. He’s a fun little guy that knows what he wants and not afraid to ask for it. He currently lives in a home with cats, and small and large dogs. This little guys is very intelligent and continuously learning as the days go by— so much training potential. He loves to play in a backyard, but will need patience and exposure on a leash. Watch Jose's video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RwnTwGDRg1g&feature=youtu.be Jose is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! He is a kissy sweet little boy. He is so soft and snuggly! Jose is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Jose's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/68026365927c1d05ab087c07 Please email cynthia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Meet Teddy! This adorable 3-year-old Yorkie–Chihuahua mix is ready to bring lots of love and snuggles to the right home. Teddy is a total sweetheart who loves being close to his people and is happiest when he’s getting cuddles, kisses, and belly rubs. Teddy will thrive with an adopter who has experience with Yorkies and understands their sensitive nature. He prefers a calm, peaceful home without regular children’s activity and does best when people approach him gently—he can be a bit startled by surprises or someone coming up behind him. Once he feels secure, he’s incredibly affectionate. &#226&#156&#168 He’s potty trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, including rabies. &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Teddy enjoys the company of other small dogs , though larger dogs can feel a little overwhelming for him. This sweet boy simply wants a cozy home where he won’t be left alone for long periods and where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished. Teddy may be cautious at first, but with patience and understanding, he’ll reward you with endless loyalty and warmth. He’s just looking for his perfect person—someone to share quiet moments, gentle touches, and all the snuggles he has to give. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2025, 5:06 pm

Story
Meet our lovable boy, Buddy, a unique dog with a heart full of potential and a bundle of quirks! Buddy is a Yorkie mix, about 1½ and weighs just about 9 lbs. Buddy will need his new family’s help. Because he has some coordination and vision issues, Buddy had a neurological workup and was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. He faces some challenges in his life and will need a special family to help him navigate his daily life. He is currently receiving a short course of steroids which we are hoping will alleviate some of his symptoms. Potty training is a struggle. He’s still figuring out the dog door—most of the time, he needs a little help to come inside. He still has accidents but is used to wearing a belly band most of the time. On the bright side, he’s a healthy little guy and has plenty of energy! This sweet pup craves attention but isn’t quite sure how to ask for it just yet. He is a bit timid around the other dogs in his foster home. and would benefit from a home with less activity and laid-back puppy siblings or where he is the only dog and can receive all the attention from his family. There are days when he enjoys simply hanging out in the garage, seemingly content to keep his own company. He loves snuggling on the couch and bed, which makes us believe he will be a loyal and loving companion given a little time. This special guy is looking for a place where he can settle in comfortably and show off his sweet personality as he learns and grows! With love and understanding, we know he’ll thrive and become a cherished member of any family. Buddy has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Buddy, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Rachel at 512-573-7435 or email lain105@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Ouiser 8 years old • 12.5 lbs • Chinese Crested or Xoloitzcuintle (hairless breed) / Yorkie mixLooking for a loyal little shadow with a heart of gold? Meet Ouiser—a partially blind sweetheart who proves that small dogs can have the biggest personalities. Her vision may be limited, but her love for people is crystal clear. She adores being around her humans, following them from room to room just to be part of the action. When she’s had her fill of affection and excitement, she’ll find a quiet, cozy corner to curl up for a well-deserved nap.Ouiser loves gentle attention, soft snuggles, and calm companionship. She’s happiest as the only pet, or sharing space with very easygoing animals who respect her boundaries. Her silly little snorts, loyal heart, and affectionate nature will quickly win you over once she feels safe and settled. When she’s not snoozing or lounging in a sunny spot, Ouiser enjoys short walks, soaking up fresh air, and proudly carrying around her favorite plush toys. With her low-to-medium energy and simple grooming routine (a few trims and a touch of sun protection), she’s an easy, loving companion ready to make every day a little brighter.&#226&#156&#168 Ouiser’s Perfect Match:-Someone who loves having a sweet, snuggly sidekick-A calm home with no pets -People who appreciate a mix of sass, softness, and soulful eyesIf you’re a Steel Magnolias fan, you’ll recognize her name—and her spark. Like her namesake, Ouiser is funny, feisty, and full of love once you’re in her circle. If you’ve ever said, “I’m not crazy, I’ve just been in a very bad mood for 40 years,” and laughed about it—you might be exactly her kind of person.Adoption InfoDogs aren’t placed on a first-come, first-serve basis—we match each animal to their best home.
