Story
The Midnight Snuggler: By day, Rowdy is timid, skittish, and cautious about being approached. But once night falls and the lights go low, his true personality shines—he’ll sneak right over to curl up next to you for quiet night-time snuggles and affection! A Quiet Companion: He takes his time building trust, but watching his confidence grow a little more each day is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Like his brother, Rowdy has been indifferent to cats and is actively working on his housebreaking manners. He requires a peaceful environment without young kids where his sweet, gentle soul can blossom. If you have a pocketful of patience and room in your heart for a sneaky cuddle bug, Rowdy is waiting for you! (The brothers would love to bunk together, but by no means require it.) Rowdy Rudy is neutered, current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Rowdy, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). Story
Meet 1 year old Laramie — tiny, spicy, and convinced the world revolves around her. She’s small, sassy, full of opinions, and would very much like to be your shadow at all times. Alone time? Hard no. If you work from home or have a flexible setup, she’ll think you hung the moon. She’s a high energy, play hard gremlin girl. Her foster has five dogs and only one can keep up, so she’d love a young, playful dog sibling who matches her chaos. Other dogs? Big yes. Cats? Undecided. Potty training is a work in progress. She doesn’t always signal, but with frequent let outs she does well. She rocks her diapers like a fashion statement, and her foster will send- some along. Outside, she’ll pee fine, but pooping requires moral support. Also… she eats poop. All kinds. We apologize on her behalf. She’s crate trained-ish: she’ll complain, then settle. Unsupervised Laramie equals chewed treasures and mystery puddles, so the crate is your friend. Car rides? Her sworn enemy. She gets carsick and is not subtle about it. On leash she’s great until she spots a new friend, then it’s zoomie mode. She knows her name, “stay,” and “no,” and she’s smart—just selectively cooperative. Laramie is a lot, but she’s also loyal, hilarious, and ride or die once she chooses you. N you want a tiny, spicy sidekick to lovingly ruin your life, she’s your girl. Laramie has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Laramie, please complete an adoption application on -our website (uaaf.org/adopt). Story
Meet Rudy: The Little Big Brother Don’t let the 10-year-old tag fool you—Rudy is the bravest explorer of this bonded Yorkie duo (Rowdy is his younger brother)! With a big personality packed into a tiny frame, he is a curious, resilient little man who is learning that humans aren’t so scary after all. All Bark, No Bite (Literally!): Rudy recently had his teeth removed, so while he loves to speak his mind, his “barks” are 100% bluff. The Master Beggar: He may act a bit timid at first, but all shyness vanishes when dinner is served—he will shamelessly beg and cry for a taste of your food. Secret Snuggler: He’s still a bit gun-shy about being approached, but don’t be fooled—he secretly loves snuggles, even if he pretends he’s too cool to admit it! Rudy is doing great with housebreaking (though Rstill a work in progress) and has been indifferent to cats. Because of his skittish nature, he would prefer a calm home without young children and a patient human who will let him warm up at his own pace. Rudy is ready to bring endless smiles and sweet love to your life! (The brothers would love to bunk together, but by no means require it.) Rudy is neutered, current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. Story
Teddy may be an older dog, but he has lots of energy, and he loves to play and go on walks. He is 9 years old and has always been healthy. We are running out of space in our home due to our expanding family, and are looking to move. Teddy would do best in a home with older children who understand dog boundaries, and/or with a loyal adult.

Story
Boris is a Yorkie terrier mix, around 20 lbs, born October 3rd. Excitable, full of personality, loves tossing rocks/small objects in the air just for fun. Great with other dogs, does best with one around, and gets a bit anxious on his own. Vocal dog, playful chatter and dramatic whining, not just barking. Fully vaccinated, crate trained. Not fully potty trained: doesn't poop inside, but needs frequent trips out to avoid pee accidents (puppy pads help in the meantime). Had a leg fracture as a puppy, fully healed and cleared by a surgeon and his regular vet. Records available. Rehoming him due to a busier work schedule with out-of-state travel and some medical issues with my partner. He deserves more time and energy than I can give right now. Comes with his food, crate, leashes, and toys, including his favorite motorized ones.

Story
Rusty is a sweet, happy, friendly guy who loves being with his people! At about 7 years old, he still has plenty of playful energy and loves walks, meeting and hanging out with other dogs, exploring, sniffing, and having fun with toys and balls. Rusty can get extra excited when his people come home, which may mean some wiggly, jumpy, mouthy enthusiasm! He may also bark at strangers through the window or fence and has a playful instinct to chase cats. But underneath it all is a loving, affectionate pup who simply adores his people and is happiest when he’s included in the fun. Rusty is one sweet, joyful guy! He does have some ongoing allergies that are manageable with his medication and he is also in need of a dental, which is already scheduled with our vet. Call us or fill out an application to meet this fun-loving guy today!
