Abyssinian kittens & cats in Tracy, California

Aspen and Alder are one year old bonded brothers. Both are brown striped tabbies and weigh an estimated 12# each. They are slow to adjust to a new place but once they do both are quite affectionate when they want to be. They would do better in a quieter environment, and we do not recommend them for a house with children or dogs.   Aspen is quite talkative and is affectionate to the point that he gets underfoot all the time while demanding pets. He is not a lap kitty generally but loves to sit next to you or close by. He also likes to tuck himself under blankets draped over the couch.   Alder can be more standoffish but demands attention on the regular as well. He doesn't talk but makes up for it with a purr that can be heard from two rooms over. He is more likely to do his own thing or play with his brother.   I believe that they will only get more affectionate with time, but I can only socialize them during the day because I have an old lady kitty that stresses easily and needs time at night without young, rambunctious kitties pestering her. On the other hand, the boys are great at keeping each other entertained and I see no reason why they would not be fine at home on their own for longer stretches of time.   I am happy to let you meet Aspen and Alder in my home, where they show best. Meet beautiful Layla! Layla was rescued from a Sacramento shelter and is a stunning young brown-ticked Abyssinian mix. She’s absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. Layla can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but she is gentle and never aggressive. Once she feels safe, especially when she’s curled up in your lap, she loves being petted and having her neck scratched, happily rewarding you with a soft, sweet purr. She would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can slowly come out of her shell and build trust at her own pace. Please contact Lindy to meet them 925-788-0803!  While we seem, act and are bonded like brother and sister, we are actually from different litters and we were found separately at only 1 week old.  We are both very playful, curious, and affectionate.  Since we are a bonded pair, we must find a forever home together. Walker- Male, black and white - I am a ham!  I run to my foster dad like a dog when I hear my name, and love to be cuddled.   I love playing with toys and wrestling with Dishevela.  I am a happy kitten but can’t stand being in a cage at Cat Lane adoption site.  I purr the second I am held.
