Story
Charro is a sweet and beautiful 10 year old Abyssinian mix. She's getting lots of TLC in a wonderful foster home. This lovely senior girl is mellow and so loving. She sleeps curled up next to her foster mom all night long. Charro is so affectionate and great with everyone she meets. She is really comfortable around the foster's young daughter and they sometimes read books together:) Charro has an easy going way about her. And although she 'looks' serious...she's really a very happy feline. Charro just loves to be close to her people. She does not like other cats, but Charro can co-exist with a small gentle cat friendly dog. She would thrive best in a calm home, with people around who will adore her and give her lots of gentle pets and cuddles. Charro was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease. She's getting special wet food and her foster is giving her subcutaneous fluids with ease, and both interventions are working. Despite the diagnosis, Charro is so deserving of a permanent home and we are hoping that an experienced adopter is ready to fall in love with her. If you're looking for an affectionate, cuddly, happy and well mannered cat who is good with older kids...just fill out an adoption application which gets you one step closer to a 'meet and greet'.

Story
Claudia is a pretty tabby with a gorgeous coat. She and her best friend Evan are a bonded pair that were rescued together. They have landed in an amazing foster home and are doing great. Here's an interesting factoid. The foster dad is a research scientist and he has unearthed some interesting genetics behind their coat colorings. Evan's coat pattern is called "ticked' and Claudia's is "blotched tabby". Claudia is not as outgoing as Evan, but since she's food motivated, her foster mom rewards her with treats when she's getting pets, brushed or doing something new for the first time. Claudia loves her foster dad! She'll come running up to him when he gets home from work and rubs her tail against his legs. She'll also happily adorn his lap for as long as he lets her. Claudia also loves to play...a great way to engage her. Evan is very curious and playful. He runs around with his tail high up in the air...a sign of a very happy cat. He'll look to his people for pets and gives out a big purr as a 'thank you'. And he's great with the resident cats and makes the cutest little chirping sounds when playing with them. Evan and Claudia absolutely adore each other. They snuggle up together, rub heads and make the cutest love sounds. They both need each other for comfort and security. That's why they can't be separated. These two need an adult family that has the time and patience to take things slow with them and let them evolve on their terms. A quiet environment with low activity level would be ideal. We think in time, with the right people by their side, they will continue to blossom and bring a lot of joy and love to their new home. Can you give Evan and Claudia the loving home they so deserve? The adoption fees for this bonded pair is discounted $50

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Companion ExtraordinaireSay hello to Grape, the inquisitive and clever Siamese cat, always ready to charm you with his friendly and playful nature. He's always up for a play session with the occasional burst of zoomies. He is quite the chatterbox, expressing his thoughts with a meow or two. He's a master at climbing to the highest spots and sneaking into the tiniest corners of the room. Plus, he's litterbox-trained and has a hearty appetite. Grape has spent most of his time indoors, but he's itching to satisfy his curiosity and explore the outdoors. He would thrive well at a home with plenty of space to roam, maybe even a backyard for his adventures. He's a curious cat who enjoys both indoor and outdoor exploration. You'll often catch him lounging by a window, keeping tabs on the world outside.   Grape likes being the sole furball at home, but with a bit of patience, he has the potential to warm up to other cats and dogs for some furry companionship. He's got that perfect mix of friendliness and shyness, with a dash of independence thrown in. Sometimes, he'll cozy up for cuddles on his own terms. But when he's not in the mood for pets, he'll kindly let you know with gentle warnings. He's fine with a quick pick-up session, but he might start to get a bit fussy if it lasts too long. Given his playful nature, he'd thrive best in a home without young children.   Bonus quirks: he's one smart cat! He's mastered the art of sitting on command (when presented with treats, ha!), and he's also a bit of a sneaky expert when it comes to opening doors.   Coat: Short hair, grey and black fur Health: Fully vaccinated (NOBIVAC), no health issues (medical records available upon request) Weight: 11lbs Status: Neutered and microchipped   To meet Grape contact:  Email: chloetanchip@gmail.com Location: San Francisco, CA THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal. Story
We were feeding a new colony of community cats that we had inherited, most of them living under a dilapidated building, when we saw these two little faces peeking out. Knowing that this was not a good place for little kittens to grow up, we caught them (it took some doing!), and brought them home. In the weeks that followed these two young boys, Piper and Hart, have gradually changed from scared little wild things into two sweet cuddly silly bugs. They are a joy to be around! They love to cuddle with us (Hart especially), and each other. Piper is still on the shy side, but in the moments when he musters up the courage to snuggle with one of us it makes our day. Forget Netflix and HBO - watching these two little boys play for hours on end is the best entertainment you could hope for. We are neutered, tested Negative for fiv/fiv. Vaccinated and Micro chipped. Birthday approx 6/21. They are a bonded pair and need to go together. Hart is the Siamese mix Male DSh B Date 6/21 Piper is the Orange Tabby/White Male DSH B Date 6/21
