Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello there... my name is Goofy. I know—it's a name that suggests playfulness and silliness, but I'm still learning how to embrace that side of myself. You might notice my tabby coat first, or perhaps your eyes will drift to my uniquely crumpled ear. It's okay to look. That little fold is a souvenir from an old infection I battled long ago. It's part of my story, though not the whole of who I am. I watch the world carefully from safe corners, trying to make sense of a place that hasn't always been kind to cats like me. I don't mind the everyday sounds of a home—the television, music, or even the vacuum cleaner. But hands reaching toward me? That's when my heart races and I seek shelter. There's something about those approaching fingers that awakens old memories I'm trying to forget. Please don't mistake my retreat for rejection—there's a universe of love waiting inside me for someone patient enough to discover it. When I feel safe, small miracles happen. My purr, though quiet, is steady and true. I might venture a little closer each day, measuring my courage in inches rather than miles. And canned food? That's my weakness, my bridge to connection. Those moments when you place my special dish down and step back—allowing me to enjoy it without pressure—those are the moments when I begin to believe that perhaps not all hands are meant to harm. I would thrive with a social cat friend who could show me the ropes, someone to translate this human world into language I understand. Watching another cat accept gentle pets helps me imagine a day when I might do the same. They would be my ambassador to your world, my teacher in the art of being touched with kindness. What I need most is time. Time that isn't measured in days or weeks but in slow blinks, gentle voices, and consistent respect for my boundaries. I need someone who understands that healing isn't linear—that some days I might allow you closer and the next day need more space, but that doesn't mean we're not making progress. I may never be the cat who leans into every touch or jumps into laps uninvited. But for the person who sees beauty in the moment I finally accept a gentle stroke along my back, who finds joy in earning my trust one finger at a time—for that person, I will be a reminder that love, even when it comes slowly, is worth the wait. Could you be the one with patience in your heart and compassion in your hands? I'm ready whenever you are. With hope and whiskers, GoofyMay 13, 2025, 12:58 pm

Good with kids, Good with cats,
Story
Meet Ellie! Hello! I'm Ellie, and I need to tell you about my philosophy on relationships: good things are worth waiting for, and I'm REALLY good. I'm a beautiful tabby and white girl with a careful heart. When we first meet, I'm probably going to need a minute (or several) to assess the situation. Are you safe? Are you kind? Do you understand that trust is something precious that shouldn't be given away to just anyone? I like to take my time with these important decisions. Some cats throw themselves at everyone who walks by. Not me! I have STANDARDS. I'm discerning. I'm thoughtful. I'm... okay, I'm a little nervous at first, but can you blame me? The world is big and unpredictable, and I'm just trying to make smart choices here! But here's the magical part - and I need you to really hear this - once I decide you're MY person? Once I feel safe with you? I transform into the CUDDLIEST cat you've ever met. I'm talking full-body snuggles. Purr motor on maximum. Head bonks. The works! All that love I was holding back while I was being cautious? It comes flooding out, and you'll wonder how one tabby and white cat can contain this much affection. Think of me like a really good book - you can't judge me by the first page. You have to get into the story. And trust me, the story gets REALLY good once I open up to you. I'm looking for someone patient who understands that cautious doesn't mean unfriendly - it just means I'm protecting my heart until I know it's safe. Someone who won't rush me, who'll let me come to them at my own pace. Someone who wants to EARN the trust of a cat who will love them completely once that trust is given. The best relationships take time to build. Are you willing to give me that time? Because I promise - I'm worth it. November 26, 2025, 1:47 am

Story
ia Lea is a gorgeous kitty. She combines a white bib with a nose ring and a striped poncho like no one else. Cia Lea is an emotional cat and she is fully aware of the abundance of love she carries with herself. Will you be the lucky one to win her heart? It doesn't take that much - some love cuddles patience and lots of tasty morsels. Whoever said that the path to love is through a tummy knew Cia pretty well. With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Cia Lea will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep her in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking, or even singing to her. October 12, 2024, 12:16 am

Story
Zen is a mysterious and elusive feline who longs for a quiet and peaceful environment to call his own. He is a cautious cat–hey, it’s a heavy world; we get it–but his caution is unmatched by his love for observing the world from a window and the company of other cats to bring him comfort. Zen's superpower of invisibility perfectly captures his ability to blend into the background, making him a master of finding secluded spots to relax in.  Zen kindly requests to be adopted into a home with his sister, Rain, to whom he is wholly devoted. These two shy cats need each other to help them feel comfortable and brave. He enjoys the company of other cats as well, and is looking for a calm, quiet household with someone who will move at his speed and help him slowly emerge from his shell. If you are seeking a companion who will appreciate the simple joys of a serene household and the company of other feline friends, Zen may be the perfect match for you. With a bit of patience and understanding, Zen has the potential to blossom into a content and loving companion who will share his hidden charm with those who earn his trust. Story
Prince & Chance — A Bonded Duo Looking for Their Forever Kingdom Prince and Chance are a bonded pair of handsome boys, roughly 3 years old, who must be adopted together. Rescued just one day apart back in 2023, these two have been inseparable ever since. Prince is believed to be a Ragdoll seal point with a regal presence and soft expression, while Chance is a striking gray boy with the most charming quirk—he was born without his right ear. While this gives Chance a unique look, it does not affect his quality of life at all. He doesn’t know there’s anything different about him and goes about his days confident, playful, and happy. Because they are bonded, Prince and Chance need to go home together. They may do well with other cats, but they have not been introduced to cats in their current foster home, so compatibility is unknown. They are both gentle with children, though Chance tends to hide from kids most of the time. As for dogs, they were scared of a large, hyper dog in a previous foster home, but they currently coexist peacefully with a small, calm, senior dog. A quieter dog—or none at all—would be the best fit for them. Despite being past the kitten stage, these boys are still very active and playful—they definitely don’t just nap all day. They love wand toys, interactive play, and food-based enrichment. Wet food is a favorite, and they consider ground turkey a very special treat. Prince does have one important medical requirement: he previously had urinary crystals and is now fully clear of them, but he must remain on prescription urinary food long-term to stay healthy. His future adopter will need to be comfortable maintaining this diet. Prince and Chance are truly wonderful boys with sweet, fun personalities and a deep bond that’s a joy to witness. They’re looking for a home that will cherish them as the duo they are—one that offers love, playtime, stability, and understanding. If you’re hoping to open your heart to two incredible companions who will reward you with affection, entertainment, and loyalty, Prince and Chance may be the perfect match. Story
Soft-spoken and shy, Rain is a mysterious female cat whose superpower seems to be her uncanny ability to blend into the shadows – hence her nickname, Invisibility. While Rain may be very shy, she emerges from her hiding spot when in the company of other cats, finding comfort and solace in their presence. Although her favorite activities and playful tendencies remain somewhat of a mystery to her foster family, one thing is clear – Rain enjoys the company of her feline friends and thrives in their companionship. Rain is still becoming accustomed to humans and needs time to warm up to new people. Rain needs a quiet household where her adult humans can give her the patience to grow and slowly emerge from her shell. She longs for a home where she can continue to build her confidence with the help of other understanding feline companions. She must be adopted with her brother, Zen, with whom she shares the world. They help each other navigate social interactions and are truly best buds. She enjoys the company of other cats as well.  Rain is slowly becoming more confident and will bravely come out to investigate her humans and greet other cats during the day. But it’s during the nighttime when she truly lets loose, pouncing around the house, playing with Zen and the toys lying around. When she feels safe and secure, Rain shows the vibrant spirit she has just waiting to bloom. If you're seeking a gentle soul to provide a loving and nurturing environment for Rain, ready to embrace her unique quirks and patiently support her journey out of the shadows, consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful feline gem. Rain may be shy, but her heart is waiting to blossom with the love and understanding of a compassionate forever family.
