Hippo and Patra are loving playful little beauties. Hippo is the sweet snuggly little cuddle bug who gives kitty kisses while Patra is the playful little explorer who loves the wand toy. Both are incredibly sweet, gentle kittens who truly love affection, and although they may be a little shy at first, with a little patience and kindness will warm up quickly, especially if a Churu is offered. Hippo and Patra will make a wonderful addition to a loving home and be loving companions for years to come. BONUS: They love to take cat-naps and sleep with their human(s).   Hippo and Patra were rescued off the streets and are now looking for their forever home where they will be loved and cared for.  They will do best in a home with older cat-savvy children (8+). They would prefer to be the only kitties in the household but could possibly go to a home with one other cat-friendly kitty and with proper introductions. They have not been around dogs so will need to discuss with their foster Mom if they are to live with a dog(s).  Hippo and Patra were born approximately May 1, 2026, and their combined adoption fee is $275. They are spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Bread is a sweet, vocal little girl who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She enjoys chasing toys and balls, but is always happy to settle in for some snuggles afterward. Bread would do best with people who are home often and/or have other active pets to keep her company. She’s a loving little girl looking for a family who will give her plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles! This kitty should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Bread was born approximately June 16, 2026, and her adoption fee is $185, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. 🐾 Meet Sue Sue has a few things she'd like you to know. She loves people. She loves attention. She loves to play. She loves to talk. Other cats? Sue has decided she can live without them. 😹❤️ This beautiful 2-year-old lilac Siamese has actually been part of our family before. She was adopted from the Second Cup Cat Cafe and spent more than a year in a home where her family got to know just how affectionate, outgoing, entertaining, and people-oriented she really is. Unfortunately, Sue and the other cat in the household simply could not learn to live peacefully together. Her family tried managing them separately, but ultimately realized that Sue would be much happier in a home where she doesn't have to share her territory—or her people—with another cat. And Sue has plenty of personality to fill a home all by herself. She's incredibly social with humans, including people she's just met. She's curious about everything, loves running around and playing, and would appreciate having plenty of room to explore and burn off some energy. She's also quite the conversationalist. Sue has opinions, and she's apparently happy to discuss them with you. Then there's the tail. Sue has the unusual habit of wagging her tail almost like a dog—whether she's excited and happy or intensely focused on stalking a toy. Between that and her desire to be involved in whatever her humans are doing, there's rarely much mystery about whether Sue is engaged with life around her. And when Sue loves you, she doesn't exactly believe in personal space. She loves sitting in laps. She'll sometimes give hugs. Once she's really comfortable with you, she may even jump onto your back and climb around to make absolutely certain she's part of whatever you're doing. She tolerates being held, but she'd generally rather choose how she gets close to you. Sue can occasionally use her teeth to communicate, and her previous family wasn't always able to determine exactly what prompted it. Sometimes it appeared to be a bid for attention or a protest when someone was leaving, and it happened much less frequently when she was relaxed and separated from the other cat. Her next family should be comfortable reading feline body language, respecting her signals, and giving her appropriate outlets for all that energy and personality. What Sue needs most is a home where she can finally stop worrying about another cat. No feline competition. No negotiating territory. No sharing her humans. Just Sue. And considering how much affection, entertainment, conversation, playfulness, and personality this girl brings with her, we don't think her new family is going to feel like anything is missing. ❤️🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
