Abyssinian kittens & cats in Frederick, Maryland

I need someone's help. Over the years i have taken in strays and am up to 7. This one (Girl Kitty) is extremely unhappy and picking fights with my other cats- most of which she then loses. While she's still using the litterbox like a champ, its causing my other male cats to spray.. She the sweetest cat, loves to play and is desperate for attention. She'd be happy as an indoor or indoor/outdoor cat and is great with dogs (she's been around 2-3 without issue. ) I think she'd really be happiest as an only cat though. She's also great with kids. If you have it in your heart to take this beautiful cat both she and I would be very grateful. She'd make a great addition to your home and family. She's a beautiful Abyssinian mix and is in need of a good home.

I’m looking to rehome my adult cat to a safe, loving home at no cost. This is a very difficult decision, but it’s being made with her best interest at heart. I am currently expecting and no longer in a position to give her the best care and attention she needs.

He was at a Vet Clinic for a check up and the owner could never be found. The Vet Clinic asked the Humane Society/Rescue to help him find a home that will understand his special needs Ghost is about 5 years old, came to us with a broken leg that has healed enough that surgery is NOT his best option at this point. He walks just fine may have some arthritis later. He is SPECIAL NEEDS for that reason and this too: Ghost has Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex (EGC) which is a set of common, often allergy-driven skin diseases in cats, characterized by inflammatory, itchy lesions like ulcers or bumps, typically on the lips, mouth, or thighs. It is usually triggered by immune system reactions to fleas, food, or environmental allergens. Treatment, including steroids, antibiotics, and allergy management, usually results in a good prognosis. His EGC is well managed with periodic antibiotic and steroid shots so that is a must for any potential adopter. It is not a terribly expensive regimen but must be monitored an addressed as he needs. Ghost is sweet and loving, loves attention and gets a bit crossed eyed in his delight/pleasure when you caress him. He is playful and snugly. He's accustomed to cats and dogs but a quieter home where he can be center of attention is likely best. Ghost's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
