Say hello to Mallory! This extra chunky girl was adopted from us in 2022 and unfortunately returned when her owner could no longer care for her. Ms. Mallory was not the happiest returning to us and has had some difficulty adjusting to being here at the shelter. She is a little bit of a sassy girl and definitely makes it known when she is not in the mood for attention, but has generally been a little sweeter on our adoption floor! In fact, as she is so chubby and in need of some extra pounds off her, she is currently free roaming in our adoption building and making friends with staff and volunteers. Mallory has been excited to come up to visitors and will give a little meow even if she is not interested in getting a pet at that time. When she is in the mood for attention, though, she will happily rub against your legs and even your hand when she would like some scratches and pets. Mallory is not the biggest fan of having four paws off the ground but we do believe some of that is due to her size. This lady will need a dedicated and patient owner who will commit time to her care and diet. At this time, Mallory is still not able to clean her back end as well as she should be able to, and does need cleaned up occasionally if it is getting messy back there. She does also have a tendency to get a little matted in her hard to reach places and enjoys a good brushing. She would do best as the only kitty in her forever home and wants to be the princess of her home! Mallory is not good with dogs and does attempt to attack them when they enter her space. Mallory would do best in a home with children who will be respectful of her space and understand that she will need time to relax on her own. Stop in and visit Mallory if she is the kitty for you! Mochi is a strikingly gorgeous Flame Point Siamese with an endearingly fluffy tail! In addition to her good looks, she's the perfect kitten package - Mochi loves to play, snuggle, and relax! She likes to sleep with her humans in bed, and has done well in a foster home environment with other cats and kids. Mochi has had some skin issues in the past, we suspect likely due to food allergies. She is currently eating a prescription food and doing very well! Due to her health issue, her adopter MUST have a current cat and the adopter's vet must confirm that all vetting has been kept up to date throughout the cat's life. Pesto is a gorgeous Siamese dream! This sweet silver fox is full of purrs and empty of teeth. Pesto is friendly and sweet and loves chin rubs and churu treats. He’s might be 10 years young but he still plays like a kitten and is getting used to wearing a harness for outside time. His last owner passed away and he’s had excellent foster and vet care by a local vet tech in the meantime. After his recent full-mouth extraction, this guy is feeling good like he should. He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and now ready for his new home! Pesto gets along well with children and dogs, but not other cats. He has lots and lots of love to give to a home with no other cats who’s ready to keep him forever.

Lara is a cat who has been with us since she was born. She was born on June 2nd 2021. Since then, she has had many issues with her sister. She is very territorial and because of this, we are unfortunately forced to rehome her. She likes to “talk,” so be ready to have conversations with her. She mostly eats dry food. She loves summer, warmth, and heat, and enjoys cozy spaces in the winter as well. Miss Lara is like a princess and likes to be treated as one. She will approach you when she wants affection. If you want to pet her, it must be on her terms and conditions—she has been this way since day one. We care for her very much, but the situation has become difficult to manage. She truly deserves a family that can give her all the attention she needs. She is good with dogs but does not do well with female cats. We do not have children at home, so we are unsure how she would be with kids.

Meet Alvin, a gentle one-year-old dilute orange-cream Siamese mix who has just arrived with his brother Calvin. These sweet boys are still a little timid as they adjust to their new rescue environment, but Alvin is already allowing pets and showing his soft, affectionate side. With a calm home and a little patience, he’ll blossom into a loving companion. He and Calvin are settling in and waiting for the perfect family to give them the safety, comfort, and love they deserve.
