You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I am one gorgeous Abyssinian girl!My name is Pawla and aren't I a gorgeous girl?   I  enjoy being around people but prefer a quiet environment.  I would be happy to get all the attention from you so would be fine as only cat but I'd also like to be adopted with my friend Mary.  I need to live indoors only since I am FIV+.  But don't worry, I am not contagious and and I am a healthy girl.  If you are interested in sharing your life with me, contact my foster mom at nearinc2004@yahoo.com.  Read below about  FIV. What is FIV?  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV) is a virus that attacks the immune system of cats.  There is no treatment or cure.  FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs.  FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent exposure to illness, sterilized and fed a balanced diet.  They should be seen by a veterinarian at least once a year to ensure their ongoing good health. Transmission:  FIV is passed from cat to cat mainly through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during fights and territorial disputes involving feral and unsterilized males.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water/food bowl and mutual grooming will NOT spread FIV.  There is no evidence that cats in the household with an FIV+ cat will acquire FIV from the FIV+ cat. Lifespan:  Multiple medical studies show that cats who are FIV+ live just as long as FIV negative cats.  FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV+ cats can live many years without any health problems.  For additional information contact your veterinarian.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 20, 2025, 8:14 am

Story
Meet Nova, a very affectionate Abyssinian mix who is as beautiful as she is sweet. After raising seven healthy kittens, the lovely Nova is ready for a human family to call her own. This brave girl not only was a young mother to a large litter, but also survived a round of FIP, making her one of the strongest kitties we know! Now she is ready to relax in a life of pampered ease as the spoiled baby, a spot she has definitely earned! Nova has beautiful glowing eyes that beg for cuddles and treats, and she will happily follow you around until she gets them.

Story
I’m the life of the party—friendly, snuggly, and always ready to make you smile. My favorite thing? Climbing right into your lap for some quality cuddle time. I’ve got energy to spare and love showing off my acrobatic moves, especially when you bring out wand toys (I’m basically a tiny gymnast!). I’d be thrilled to have an animal buddy to play with, but being so sociable, I'd probably be perfectly happy as your one-and-only as long as I get lots of attention. I’m all about love, play, and being close to my people—so if you’re looking for a social butterfly with a big heart and a playful streak, I’m your guy! Est. DOB: August 13, 2025 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.
