Abyssinian kittens & cats in York, Pennsylvania

Meet Lil! 💕✨ Our beautiful, resilient little fighter is looking for her perfect forever home. Lil came to us extremely dehydrated and had to overcome some massive health hurdles, including fighting off Cryptosporidium and navigating life with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). She worked so hard to get healthy, and now she is ready to find a family who will cherish her just as she deserves! Lil is incredibly sweet, friendly, and absolutely loves attention. Because of her CH, she knows she is a bit more vulnerable than other cats, which makes her a little hesitant at first. She is a girl who values manners and patience! She doesn’t like to feel chased, but if you invite her over and wait, she will happily come to you. She has a few specific preferences that help her feel secure: • Back pets while standing are a no-go—it throws off her balance. • Laying down or leaning against something is her absolute favorite way to get loved on. • Face cuddles are her specialty! She loves to rub on your legs and cuddle her face right into your arm. Lil will likely be beautifully wobbly for life, but don't let that fool you—she does great with stairs, uses the litter box perfectly, and doesn't let her wobbles keep her from playing with the other kittens. In fact, she’s actually quite fast when she gets zooming! Lil is fully vetted and comes with an amazing send-off package to set her up for success: • Spayed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative • Fully vaccinated (complete Rabies & FVRCP series) • Dewormed and up to date on broad-spectrum antiparasitics • 30-day free trial of Trupanion pet insurance • Lifetime pet pharmacy discount • Discounted new pet consult + 2 free nail trims at Vibrissae • Limited-time bonus: A backpack-style pet carrier! If you have gentle hands, a patient heart, and the perfect spot for Lil to lean against while you pet her, she is currently accepting applications! 📝 Apply to adopt this special girl here: bit.ly/KitumbraAdopt #kitumbra #R

This gorgeous flame point Siamese mix jumped in a good Samaritan's car to get out of the cold. That person then contacted our rescue in hopes to get her safe. Once arriving with us we realized that she was already spayed along with being microchipped. After contacting the owners we were told that she is an outdoor cat while she was in our care it was determined that she was between 8 and 9 years old so we asked the owner if they would be willing to surrender her that way she could have a chance at an indoor life. So here she has found herself in rescue at 8 years old. She is the sweetest lap cat and is a Velcro Kitty. She absolutely loves being indoors and wants nothing to do with the outside world. She is an older girl who deserves a chance at living out the best of the last of her days. She is currently fostered with cats only and has just began being integrated so I do not know how she would do long-term with cats and I do not know how she does with dogs. She spent most of her 8 years outdoors so I'm sure she is fearful of both and slow introductions would have to be done. When it comes to people she absolutely loves everyone and everything she is definitely a little diva who would love to be the center of attention.
