Story
Who knew Bluey's name would be so accurate to the little girl she's growing into?! At 5 months old her gorgeous Abbysinian ticked coat simmers tones of blue, tan, and silver with a classic tan moon higlighting her adorable round kitten tummy. Her facial features could have her in a modeling career with grey green doe eyes, bold eyeliner with a perfectly higlighted and countoured nose. While she is the biggest girl of the litter at 5lbs, she will likely remain a small to medium lady into adulthood. Bluey is sweet, descerning, and slightly subdued in comparison to her siblings, taking her time to warm up to new reaching hands. Once her mind has been made up, her affections are like none other because you know you've earned her trust. She is the favorite snuggle companion of all her family members. If there are two of them snuggled up sharing a cat tower or bed, one is sure to be Bluey! Often the first to appear for crunchies and toys alike, she will defer to the bolder personalities in the group sitting back and watching for her opening to take her turn without competition. Much of Bluey's comfort and confidence comes from palling around with her mama or sisters, though she isn't part of a specifically bonded pair. With a warm and confident cat companion in a calm and slow paced home, Bluey's inner playful cuddly nature will bloom. She joyfully coexists in ease with the foster's resident cats and dogs (when dogs aren't barking in the choas of wildlife existing outside the windows, lol) but her snuggles are thus far reserved for the females of her feline family. She would likely do well with calm respectful kiddos that let her come to them, but not as well suited to be carried around or expected to be a lap cat during waking hours. Sleeping legs? That's her jam! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life. ##2569128##

Story
Socks gets her name from, you guessed it, adorable white socks added to the gorgeous Abbysinian tabby coloring of her mama and litter. At 5 months and just under 5lbs she has even more snowy white highlights coming in;  belly and chest patches, and even nose and brow whisps! This long, petite girl's good looks are almost the least interesting thing about her. Socks is one ideal kitten! She can match the personality of any of the animals in her foster household and there are 10 right now!! She will come running to greet you at the call of her name or to chatter from any seeking feline companion. She is smart, social, and snuggly; always reading the vibe of the room. Including when her mama didn't care to be separated and she went to work undoing the velcro holding the gate closed!!  Her ability to thrive in a variety of situations is yet another quality of this girl. From being carted around by a 3 yr old her first week in her foster home to being sweet subdued Bluey's favorite snuggle companion, Socks really does love it all. While not specifically bonded with her mama or sisters, they're all better off with this loving charasmatic girl by their sides. Her calm, yet chatty, confidence will surely show in any household with cats, dogs, and kids. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair.
