Meet your New Best Friend! If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Swiper, a neutered white and black Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, is living proof that gentlemanly dogs sometimes wear a size XL! From the moment you meet this handsome, calm soul with striking blue eyes, your blood pressure will drop because when you're near Swiper, you can't help but feel the calming energy that he puts out into the universe. This polite and respectful fellow is relaxed and very easy-going around people. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, knows several doggie commands, and does all that he can to stay house-trained despite living in a shelter kennel. Swiper loves to get and give affection, but that doesn't mean he constantly needs attention; he sometimes appreciates having some time to himself to play with toys, rest and relax, and daydream. In addition to being house-trained, he is up to date on vaccinations, weighs 93 lbs., and is three years old. If you're looking to add a calm, kind, affectionate, and gentle spirit to your family, Swiper is waiting for you.
