Story
How this pet arrived: Kona was brought in by her previous owner on December 6, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Kona! This gorgeous brindle girl is looking for a new home! She's been a bit fearful in our care, but with slow introductions and patience, her warm, affectionate side truly shines. Once she feels safe, Kona is the kind of pup who loves soaking up pets, riding shotgun on car adventures and enjoying a breezy day at the beach. Kona is both crate trained and potty trained, giving her a great head start in her new home. She has done well with other dogs out and about, but she prefers not to share her favorite people - so she's looking to be the only dog in the home. Any kids in the household will need to meet her ahead of time to ensure it's a great fit for everyone. If you're looking for a sweet companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Kona may be your perfect match! Come in and ask about adopting today! At SDHS:Kona has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Kona is now ready for her new home! Shy/Fearful Dog: Kona requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 60.4 Age: 3yrs 8mths 2wks
