Story
Annie, Pyrenees/Australian, 2 yrs. Annie She is a very sweet dog, but she will need to go to a home with someone who has experience with these types of breeds. This is a guardian dog and a working breed. She can walk on a leash, and I can take her food from her while she’s eating with no problems. Her world is a bit upside down right now but despite all that, she is just a goofy ball of love that is looking for her forever home. Her owner has been dealing with a cancer diagnosis and unfortunately her treatments did not go as hoped and I have been given the go ahead to find this beautiful girl a new home. She was raised with a St. Bernard and gets along fine with a Siberian husky. She also lives with a cat, and she mostly ignores it, but I don’t think she would be a great fit for a home with just a cat and no other dogs. Looking for a home with someone home most of the time and another young dog. More information to come. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Avalanche, Great Pyrenees mix, 3 yrs., 80 lbs. Housebroken. Avalanche is going to take some time to get used to you and new surroundings. It took a week for him to get used to being leashed. He is headstrong and stubborn but is affectionate. Doesn’t seem to care about other dogs. He’s better with women than men. He needs to be an indoor/outdoor dog not a livestock dog. We prefer a home with someone home most of the time unless there’s another dog in the home. He was surrendered due to his owner becoming ill and he could no longer care for him. Courtesy listing.
