Story
*Lemon will be adoption-ready starting April 4.* Meet Lemon, a gentle soul with a heart full of love and so much potential. She is truly the sweetest girl, already showing just how smart and eager to please she is. In her foster home, she’s been picking up basic commands with impressive speed and is absolutely excelling in potty training—she’s well on her way to being a wonderful, well-mannered companion. While she may feel a little shy or nervous when first meeting new people or entering new environments, it doesn’t take long for her warm, affectionate personality to shine through. With just a bit of patience and kindness, she blossoms into a loyal and loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’s also doing fantastic with leash training and is learning what it means to be a confident, happy dog. Every day, she grows more comfortable, more playful, and more connected to the world around her. This special girl is looking for a home that will continue to nurture her confidence and celebrate her progress. Lemon is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Lemon is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
While Bruno may be a bit shy and unsure in new situations, underneath it all is a truly sweet and gentle soul who is already making progress in learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. He tends to take a moment to observe before jumping in, but with a little patience and encouragement, his confidence continues to grow each day. Bruno is currently working on his potty training and will thrive with consistency, routine, and a little grace as he figures things out. He would especially enjoy a home that makes it easy for him to get outside and build good habits, and he’s already showing that he wants to do the right thing. One of Bruno’s biggest strengths is how well he does with other dogs. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and would greatly benefit from having a confident canine companion in the home. A doggy friend can help show him the ropes, boost his confidence, and remind him that life is full of fun, play, and positive experiences. He is noticeably shyer than his brother, often taking the quieter, more thoughtful role, but that just makes it all the more special when he chooses to come out of his shell. Bruno is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time and support he needs to blossom. In return, you’ll get to watch a timid little pup grow into a loving, loyal companion who truly trusts his people. Bruno is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Bruno is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. Story
Gus is a sweet, sensitive boy who may be a little shy at first, but he has a curious and quietly adventurous spirit just waiting to shine. While he can be unsure in new situations, he’s already showing that he’s willing to explore and try new things—especially when he has a little encouragement and a familiar friend by his side. He absolutely loves being around other dogs and takes a lot of comfort in their presence. Gus would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted canine companion who can help show him the ropes and remind him that the world is full of safe, fun experiences. Having a doggy role model will go a long way in helping his confidence continue to grow. Gus especially enjoys spending time outside, where he can play, explore, and take in all the new sights and smells at his own pace. He would love a home that gives him regular opportunities to be outdoors and burn off a little energy while building confidence in a low-pressure way. He’s currently working on potty training and will do best with consistency, routine, and a patient adopter who understands that he’s still learning. Like many puppies, he just needs a little guidance and encouragement to help everything click. Compared to his brother, Gus is a bit more adventurous and willing to test the waters, even if he still approaches things thoughtfully. With time, reassurance, and a supportive environment, he’s sure to blossom into a confident, loving companion. Gus is looking for a home that will celebrate his small wins, go at his pace, and help him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be.
