Story
Lollie is such a sweet and goofy girl. She thinks she’s a total lap dog who loves all of the cuddles and pets you can give her. Lollie is low-energy and would love to sleep and relax all day if able, but also loves to be outside to join you on calm walks. She is currently working on perfecting her leash manners and has made so much progress! Lollie is potty trained and is doing great with her crate training. She thrives off of positive reinforcement and is food motivated, so training is more fun, rather than a chore with her! She has lovely house manners and is not interested in chewing or any sort of destruction towards the home, house plants, or her toys. Lollie is very “go with the flow” and is content hanging out in another room while you are working in another. She is just happy to match your pace and content just being part of your world. One of her favorite hobbies? Sunbathing! Give her a sunny patch of floor or a warm backyard spot and she’ll happily stretch out and soak it all in. She also loves her toys and enjoys gentle playtime. Why you’ll love Lollie: • Low energy and easygoing • Well-behaved in the home and knows basic commands • Potty trained and progressing with crate training • Affectionate but not clingy • “Go with the flow” personality • Good with other dogs Lollie is currently in the process of working on her leash frustration. When seeing other dogs on leash (mostly large dogs) she becomes excited/frustrated - it’s more about big feelings and wanting to engage than anything else. This behavior is easily managed and redirected by using a gentle leader and positive reinforcement. In her foster home, she is making so much progress with her training. Lollie would thrive in a home with consistency and someone who is willing to keep working with her and her training. If you’re ready for a sweet, mellow best friend who loves deeply and will bring a calm and goofy joy to your life, Lollie is ready to meet you! Lollie is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lollie is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. She is working on potty training in foster and is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, February 7 or 14. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applications February 2-15.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet your new life-of-the-party bestie 🎉🐾 This 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix is a giant baby in a 70 lb body and he is here to have a good time! Equal parts party animal and cuddle monster, he’s the kind of dog who will leap straight into your arms (yes, really) for affection and then flop dramatically for more love. Sweet doesn’t even begin to cover it. He adores other dogs and lives for playtime—running, wrestling, zooming, and making sure he’s right in the middle of all the action. He’ll happily wear himself out having fun and then settle in close, soaking up attention like the big love sponge he is. Because of his size and enthusiastic zest for life, he’s too large and exuberant for little kids, but he’d thrive with dog-savvy humans who appreciate a joyful, high-energy companion. Food? Obsessed. Treats? Yes please. Enrichment toys? Absolutely. And honestly, who doesn’t want peanut-butter kisses from a slobbery gentleman who gives 110% to everything he does?? He does have a prey drive, so he’s looking for a home without small animals. In return, he promises endless laughs, wholehearted love, and the kind of presence that makes every day feel a little more fun. If you’re ready for a big, goofy, affectionate dog who wants to be part of everything, this sweet party animal is ready to meet you. 🐶💛
