All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Kylo Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $375 Meet Kylo: Kylo is a silly, sweet, affectionate boy who believes every person he meets is his new best friend. He’s the perfect blend of energetic and mellow: he’ll happily romp and play, but he’s just as content to curl up for cuddles on the couch. If you’re looking for a dog who can match your active days and your lazy ones, Kylo is your guy. Kylo is extremely people‑oriented and loves adults and kids alike. He has grown up with a young child and is gentle and tolerant with food, toys, and handling. He doesn’t have any herding tendencies or guarding behaviors. The only thing to keep in mind is that he sometimes forgets he’s a big boy and may accidentally knock over small children in his excitement to say hello. When visitors come to the home, Kylo will bark at the doorbell and rush over to greet them, but it’s all enthusiasm. He truly just wants to make friends. Kylo is a social butterfly off leash. He’s a regular at dog daycare, where he plays well with other dogs and has a great reputation. He can play rough at times, but never with aggression. On leash, however, Kylo struggles with reactivity. Seeing another dog can cause him to bark and lunge, and his big voice can be intimidating. He has never harmed another dog, but he will need an adopter willing to continue working on his leash manners. Kylo lived peacefully with a cat who preferred to avoid him. He wanted to play, but respected her boundaries. He does have a prey drive toward small wildlife. Kylo is fully potty trained and crate trained. His crate is his safe space, and he settles well when left alone. He does have some mischievous tendencies when unsupervised, such as chewing, digging, counter surfing, trash diving, and barking. He also enjoys burying treasures in the yard and will eat poop if it’s not picked up promptly. Because of this, he should not be left loose in the house or yard without supervision. Interested in this furry companion? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. *PLEASE NOTE* Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them! We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Story
Meet Holland! Holland is a gentle, easygoing guy who's happiest simply being part of the family. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all shapes and sizes and has a friendly, laid-back personality that makes him an easy companion. Holland is well behaved and low-to-medium energy. He's perfectly content lounging around the house, relaxing outside, or hanging out wherever his people are. Overall, Holland is a sweet, mellow dog looking for a family that appreciates the quieter side of life—with plenty of companionship and relaxation along the way. Holland is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Holland is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Mesa is a dear, loyal dog. I fell for him at a rural mountain shelter when I heard he’d caught his own supper (fish) from Blue Mesa reservoir when he’d spent time there as a stray. Mesa had accidentally injured his front left paw at the shelter, where he was deeply loved and also too big for them to keep much longer. He was in and out of a cone, that paw mostly healing, then backsliding. I offered to bring him across the state and see how Mesa did with my Pyrenees mix and my middle-aged tortoise shell tabby. Mesa ignored our cat and tolerated her shenanigans, just as the shelter thought he would after they cat-tested. (Perhaps he grew up with barn cats? There is much we don’t know about his history.) Sadly, Mesa and my 5-year-old Pyrenees mix (also a rescue) did not get along. I think Mesa would be absolutely amazing for a single-dog home. He is smart, devoted, handsome, and could be a gigantic lap dog. His paw is completely healed. He loves people—great with men & women. And cats!
