Calm, observant, and loyal, Bruno bonds with the people he trusts and loves being near his humans, whether he is lounging or keeping watch. While Bruno is respectful and affectionate with people, he would do well in a dog & cat free environment where he doesn't have to share his space or attention. True to the breed, Bruno is independent, devoted and protective. Like most Great Pyrenees, he will often bark at passersby outside and can be aloof to strangers. He enjoys a calm household, steady routine and a home that understands large guardian breed. A calm household with patient, experienced adopters would be ideal. Bruno would do best in a predictable home without children. If you're looking for a loyal companion to train to watch over your home and livestock, and you can provide a space where Bruno is secure and respected, this majestic boy could be the perfect match! Bruno is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 03/30/2024), and his adoption fee is $510. Bruno has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
