Story
Meet Saul - Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 3 year 9 month-old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 99 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am however VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean, but that's because I am a gentleman. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all - it makes me look even cuter! I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! Love, Saul!

Story
He is a super sweet boy around the age of 1 year old. He is Great Pyrenees and completely white in color. He loves loves to walk, play with other dogs and good with kids. Unknown on the cat part and doesn’t seem to have a prey instinct at all. He would need to be in a home with a fenced in yard and he isn’t fond of a dog crate at all. She's a big girl, weighing in at 60 pounds, but don't let her size fool you - she's a big puppy at heart! Polly is a bundle of fun and loves nothing more than playing with other dogs and people. Her playful antics are sure to keep you entertained all day long! Her funny personality will have you in stitches as she bounces around with endless enthusiasm. She's already crate-trained, so you won't have to worry about that. But be warned - she's so lovable, you might find it hard to say no to those puppy dog eyes! Polly loves walks and car rides, so you'll enjoy exploring the great outdoors together. With her by your side, every day is an adventure waiting to happen. Story
Hi! I’m Cleo, and I’m ready to find my forever home. Here’s the 411 on me: - I’m a 10-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix. Yep, I know I look nothing like a Great Pyrenees other than the white fur. But I’m protective like a GP and enjoy patrolling my backyard to keep my family safe from intruders and strange noises; I usually use my barks. - I love people. I’m good with new people, older kids, and my family. I like being with my people a lot; otherwise, I may get into stuff - after all, I am still a puppy, and I’m not a big fan of being crated.  I’m a female, weigh 50 pounds, and am already spayed. From my research, I think I was named after Cleopatra. Cleopatra was known for her beauty and I am super cute), I am also very smart and brave (nothing uninvited will get into my backyard!). - I need slow introductions to new dogs, and I think cats are something to chase and not cohabitate with. - I love walks but don’t like seeing other dogs on my walks.  My foster parents are working with me on this. - I am potty trained and don’t have accidents in the house. - I have this quirk they call resource guarding.  If I have something I want (usually a toy or dirty sock), I do NOT want you to take it from me.  But since I’m smart, I understand a trade and will nicely exchange my wonderful item for a treat. - I love to cuddle! If all this sounds great to you, please meet me.  I’m waiting for you.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Beary Tree is a stunning, 2.5 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He currently weighs in at about 70 pounds, but is working on losing a few. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.    This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him. He plays well with other dogs, but with any big dog, a slow introduction is always a good idea. He loves car rides so much that he is reluctant to leave the car when you get home. Walks and hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky and pull on a leash when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress.    He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a must for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it.     This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky family.
