Rosebud has been stealing hearts everywhere she goes on her field trips, and it's easy to see why. If you're looking for a kid-friendly, dog-friendly, event-friendly companion, this sweet girl checks all the boxes! At 71.8 pounds, Rosebud is a gentle giant who absolutely adores children. She was surrendered by her previous owner, so we know she's part Great Pyrenees. Like many dogs, Rosebud needs a little encouragement when it comes to transitions like walking through doorways or hopping into a vehicle. But once she's there, she transforms into the social butterfly everyone dreams of adopting. Rosebud enjoys a good play session now and then, but she's just as happy relaxing in the shade with one of her favorite hard chews. If you really want to win her heart, bring a deer antler, it's her all-time favorite! If you have cats at home, we'll gladly introduce Rosebud to our resident HSOC cats before adoption to help ensure she'll be a good match for your family. Mudbud is about as well-rounded as they come. He's playful, confident, protective, and every now and then he'll pretend to be a little shy. He's also what we like to call a doggy bulldozer; stubborn, silly, and determined to wedge his big ol' head right into your arms for affection. This handsome boy is incredibly food motivated, but he also loves to stretch his long legs and run. Once he makes a canine friend, watch out... the zoomies are coming! Mudbud gets along with most dogs, although he occasionally decides that larger male dogs just aren't his cup of tea. Mudbud is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and is ready to settle into his forever home. We're still learning how he feels about children and cats. If an applicant has children, we'll schedule a safe, secure meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable together. If there are cats in the home, we'll complete a cat test with our resident HSOC cats before adoption. Mudbud is simply waiting for someone who wants a loyal companion and can't resist snuggling that precious face. We honestly can't figure out why this handsome guy is still here! Meet Claire — your loyal shadow and built-in best friend 💛 Claire is a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a gentle, devoted spirit. She’s the definition of a “love bug” and truly happiest when she’s close to her person—whether that means relaxing quietly by your side or joining you on your next outdoor adventure. This sweet girl is incredibly well-mannered. She’s house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Claire is also food motivated (which makes training a breeze!) and does great at the groomer—she’s the total package. Claire has a wonderfully balanced personality. She’s just as content curling up next to you for a cozy evening as she is heading out for a hike or a nice long walk. She’s always up for whatever you have planned—as long as she gets to be with you. She’s still getting used to car rides, but she handles them like a champ and is clearly excited for wherever the journey leads. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through it all, Claire is your girl. She’s ready to give her whole heart to someone who will love her right back.
