Story
This handsome guy is Trooper and he’s SO looking forward to meeting you!!! Trooper is a super gorgeous 40 pound black mouth cur mix. .He was born about 2/6/25 This boy has the sweetest, most gentile temperament you’ll ever see. He is current on his vaccines, is heartworm negative, and already neutered. So he is ready to move right in and he’s anxiously awaiting your visit. Are you ready for a bestie who will give you years of fun, affection, and loyalty? Well, Trooper is your guy!! Please consider meeting this amazing boy and giving him the home he SO deserves. You will get SO much back in return! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!
