Story
💙 Name: Hodol 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 3 months old (born in August 2025) 💙 Weight: 3.2 kg / 7 kg 💙 Adogs Center Updates: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neuter: Incomplete. * Others: Microchipped, being treated for canine coronavirus and giardiasis. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Hodol was living at the Gimje City Shelter. He was waiting at the shelter with a smile on his face despite the weather getting colder, but no one stepped up to adopt him. The shelter had poor conditions, with infectious diseases spreading and poor heating, so Adogs urgently rescued him. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is a little shy but is docile and stays in your arms when picked up. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he wags his tail like a helicopter and runs around happily just seeing them come near. * With Dogs: Plays well with the other dogs at our center. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since he’s living in a group setting at our center. Will need training from scratch. * Potty Training: Does fairly well with potty pads. May need to be re-trained in a new environment. * Walks: Hasn’t been on walks since his vaccinations aren’t complete. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of car sickness on short-distance rides. * Biting: Has not bitten. However, he may nibble or chew since he’s still a teething puppy. * Barking: Sometimes whines a bit if he seems someone outside his kennel. * Likes: Has a great appetite and loves food. * Dislikes: Although he is docile when picked up, he seems a bit uncomfortable with it since he yawns (a sign that a dog isn’t comfortable).

Story
Sadly, I had some terrible experiences in foster since coming to Canada. The person locked me in the basement most all the time with virtually no light, no interaction. It was awful. I cried. Finally, LAL got me out of there. My new foster can only hold me for a couple weeks though, so I need an adopter pronto. My name is HATCH (Hachiko) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Akita/Spitz mixAge: 1 year oldGender: maleWeight: 17 kgCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): sweet, playful, gentle, friendly, calm Don't I look like an Orange dreamsicle? I'm just as creamy sweet too.My owner has been going through a hard time emotionally after recently losing his father and struggling with depression. I was given to him as a gift in the hope that it might help lift his spirits. Unfortunately, things did not improve and he was struggling to care for me. So, I had been taken to a boarding facility. You'll find me a bright and gentle guy. I'm also pretty calm for a puppy.I am fine with other dogs my size or larger, but for teeny dogs, my play is just too rough for them. My rescuer states I am fine with kids, see video. I have not been around any kitties. I am a really happy boy who loves everyone. Kids are a lot of fun, but bigger ones may be better, as my exuberance may knock little ones over.I have plenty of puppy energy, so would love if we could be adventurers together doing active things. Yah, I do counter surf and am a little mouthy, but I am a curious puppy yet. I just need someone patient to teach me. I am highly trainable.Surely I can adapt to most any home. I think it would be great to have an active family, as well as chilling at home afterward. I'm just a friendly, playful pup looking for my friendly, playful family. Is that you? Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: YesCats: unknownKids: Yes Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2423596##

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON OR GROUP LISTED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A LOVED AT LAST DOG.  Please do NOT submit an application through LALDR. Please contact Dede at info@tofinoyoga.com  for more information or to adopt. Hi everyone, I am the charming and cuddly Cohen and here's some information about me: Name: CohenAge: 5 yearsBreed: Akita | Husky | Shepherd mixWeight: 85-90 lbs Do not let my size fool you, my heart is even bigger than I am! People refer to me as a gentle giant who loves to cuddle, relax, and lounge. I also enjoy swimming, exploring, walking the beach here in Tofino, meeting friends, and soaking up the coastal life! I am gentle with kids of all ages, but I am naturally active and high energy, so will need some supervision around toddlers to curb my enthusiam! Cuddles and affection are my love languages and I can easily become a lapdog if you'll allow it. I do however have manners and will get off the couch if asked. Being alone at home is no problem as I have been crate trained. In general I am quiet and respectful, but after all I am still a dog and will sneak a treat if it's within range.  I do well on leash with a collar or harness and love to hang out with my dog friends during my weekly dog walk. The husky and I in my foster home have become true besties and I was happy to let the Chiweenie in my previous home call the shots. Off leash, I am well socialized, reading cues from oter dogs and always chosing to avoid conflict, no problem! I do however need a bit of space when I am on leash  meeting new people and dogs. A confident handler using positive reinforcement has helped me work on that.  I am not too sure about cats though, especially a few outdoor cats I met on our walks. With patience, consistency and treats from my trainers, we have worked on my anxiety, social skills and recall. They say that I have grown so much over time and that I will make a truly special companion for a loving and stable home. Regular exercise and affection are my two most important needs. With these I will thrive in my new home! I'm looking for a home that understands my need for space during introductions and is committed to continuing the positive reinforcement that’s helped me grow. I can't wait to be your loyal companion, sharing all my love, charm, and cuddles. I am fully house trained, neutered, microchipped, and my shots are up to date (last vet visit in August). I'm a healthy, happy fellow, eager to be part of a new loving family. An adoption fee of $100 applies. ##2543173##

Story
(More pics coming soon) Hi! I’m Freddy — your future adventure buddy 🤍 First things first: yes, I do make the funniest faces… and my goofy expressions are truly to die for. I’m a young, playful pup at heart; a 3 year old, 50 lb Husky full of curiosity, sweetness, and heart melting head tilts. For a long time, I waited in a shelter. Day after day. Watching. Hoping. Treats were my bright spots. When someone offered one, my whole world lit up and I could imagine, just for a moment, what it might feel like to belong. After months of waiting, I was finally rescued by the wonderful folks at PawesomeBaby Rescue! Now I’m in a loving foster home, showing everyone what a good boy I truly am. I love to play - with humans, with other young and playful dogs, and with anyone who’s ready to have a little fun. I have a goofy personality, a joyful spirit, and I bring smiles wherever I go. Playtime, cuddle time, and shared adventures are my favorite things. I also have an overbite jaw that makes me only even more cuter! I’m potty trained at my foster homes, and gentle and kind with people, kids, and other dogs. I have lived peacefully with a husky foster sister and taken her corrections like a polite gentleman. No guarding, no aggression — just love and curious learning. I also did great around the little humans in my foster homes. I do have a true Husky heart though, and I’d thrive with a family who loves the outdoors. Walks are my favorite! I’m curious, alert, and love exploring the world one sniff at a time. Adventures, hikes, neighborhood strolls, beach walks, I’m ready for all of it, right by your side. I can be your one-and-only adventure buddy or share my life with a friendly young fur sibling. Either way, I love having companionship and being part of the action — not left alone :) This holiday season, I’m wishing for more than toys or treats. I’m wishing for a forever family; one that laughs at my silly expressions, plays with me, takes me on adventures, and loves me just as I am. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful soul with a goofy adventurous spirit… I’m ready to come home. 🤍 Please contact my rescue family PawesomeBaby ✨🐾 —————————————————————————- About Freddy: —————————————————————————- • Age: approx 3-4 yr • Weighs 50 lb • Neutered, up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella), dewormed. • He has a cute little overbite. • Potty trained at foster home. • People friendly - He is friendly and playful with humans, big and small. • Dog friendly - He is friendly with playful, friendly dogs. Not tested with small dogs or cats. You will be adopting a dog who got the care listed below - • Spay/neuter • Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella vaccines • Negative fecal test or dewormed • Wellness checkup, Heartworm, blood tests • Microchip registration with AKC reunited • Lots of tender loving care at amazing foster home! We are looking for adopters in Washington state or BC Canada. We may consider neighboring states too, if it’s a perfect match for him and you are willing to drive or transport. Please contact to schedule a meetup! His adoption fee is USD 400. We charge an adoption fee for our precious dogs, to make sure they go to a good home who can afford caring for them as a family member. Dog ownership is a lifetime commitment of over 10-15 yrs. Training: —————- Like a typical husky, he doesn’t enjoy being alone. He gets separation anxiety and can resort to chewing paper, plastic, leash and anything he sees around. But he has been good if he has his humans or fur siblings around. Training Resources: ————————————— Regardless of who you adopt, we recommend training your pup regularly, to build an everlasting bond with your pup and help them continue to be an amazing canine citizen. We can provide a list of reputable trainers who use positive reinforcement methods to help you establish a training protocol with your newly adopted furbaby. —————————————————————————- [IMPORTANT] —————————————————————————- Below listed requirements are for any dogs we adopt out, meant for everyone’s safety. • If you have other dogs, then you must also be knowledgeable and have good hands on experience with running a multi-dog home to be able to adopt a dog from us. What’s expected of the adopter is just keeping basic house rules like (1) keep the dogs apart when feeding, monitor & put away left over food, (2) help them build mutual trust before leaving alone with treats, toys around (3) keep dogs out of kitchen when handling food etc • As with any dog, earn their trust around food handling. This is an essential training for every dog, so they learn to trust their new human. It takes only a couple of practice sessions around meal time with most dogs with no history of food guarding. Teaching to sit, then hand-feeding food & high value treats is one of the best ways to earn trust. • If you have children at home, they should be at least 8+ yrs, and know to safely & respectfully interact with dogs, to be considered for adoption. We think families with younger children will likely not have the time needed to exercise and nourish a new dog. And the time needed to train little kids to safely interact with dogs, read their body language & respect their personal space. Most dogs do not enjoy little ones clinging to them, pulling their fur, crawling or lying on them. We do not want to risk the safety of neither your child nor our dog. Follow @dogmeets_baby trainer on Instagram to learn more on this topic :-) Of course, we understand there are exceptions and some parents are on top with this. Please contact us if you are one of those exceptional parents :) • We discourage the use of choke, pinch, prong collars on our dogs. Training to walk on a well fitted no-pull harness is encouraged. All our dogs come with a “no-pull” harness. If needed, you can use humane collars like regular buckle collars, martingale collars or ‘gentle leader’. For adoption process details, check out PawesomeBaby.com and send us a message here. Thank you for considering to adopt a husky in need. God bless!

**Note: currently, Saenan is in Korea. but he will fly to Vancouver once he is adopted. Background Beautiful Saenan was rescued from a city pound in Sangju, Korea, last winter. Since then, he’s been living safely at our partner boarding house, sharing his days with other rescue dogs. Personality & Socialization Saenan is a happy, bright boy with a big heart. He loves to play with other dogs. Especially those who enjoy running and chasing just like him. Being a Husky, he’s full of energy and joy, and outdoor playtime is truly his favorite part of the day. When it comes to other dogs, Saenan has been very sociable and well-mannered. He spends most of his time with dogs around his size, and he’s always comfortable and loving in their company. He gets along easily and enjoys being part of the group. Saenan is also very affectionate and friendly with people, men, women, and even new faces. He warms up quickly to anyone who shows him kindness and loves being close to his humans. Behaviours Saenan has been an easygoing dog since joining our adoption program. He rides well in the car, does fine during baths and vet visits, and follows his human’s lead nicely. He doesn’t bark excessively and enjoys a calm, happy routine. After his outdoor play sessions, he relaxes quietly and enjoys cuddling or resting beside his friends. Saenan walks well on leash and hasn’t shown destructive behaviors. Health & Diet When rescued, Saenan was treated for heartworm and has made a full recovery. He is now healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has shown no allergies. Ideal Home Saenan would do best with someone familiar with the Husky breed. Ideally, a family who understands their energy and exercise needs. He would love a home with another friendly, playful dog around his size to keep him company and share his adventures. An active person or family who enjoys outdoor activities would be a perfect match for him. Saenan is very loyal, smart, and loving, whoever welcomes him home will be very lucky to have such a faithful companion. ---------------------------- For more info about the dog or the adoption agreement, please submit your link. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/saenan/

Story
I’m Blue, and I’m a curious, bright-eyed Husky with a big heart and even bigger love for the world around me. Every walk feels like an adventure—every scent, every sound is something new to explore. I get so excited, like I’m discovering the world for the first time! When I meet people, I can’t help but walk right up and sniff their faces, just to say, “Hi! Who are you?” People always smile when I do that—maybe it’s the way I tilt my head or my wagging tail that makes them laugh. I get along pretty well with other dogs, too! I do sometimes forget how strong or energetic I can be, especially around smaller pups. I think I’m the same size as them, so I play a little rough without meaning to. If I’m with little friends, I’ll just need someone to help me play more gently. I'm learning! Oh—and being a Husky, I have that classic husky voice… yep, I howl sometimes. When I feel lonely or miss my people, I might sing a little to let you know. So I’d do best in a home where I’m not left alone too often. I really do love being near my humans. I’ve been through a tough start—abandoned alone in a basement—but I’ve never let that stop me from trusting or loving people. I still believe in the goodness of humans, and I’m ready to give all my love to the right family. If you're looking for a joyful, curious, and loyal companion who will fill your days with adventure and laughter, I’m your guy. Let’s discover the world together. With love, Blue 🐾
