Hatchi’s story is heartbreaking — he came into the shelter with his brother, but when their owner returned, they only took his brother… leaving Hatchi behind in a high-kill shelter. He soon found himself on the euthanasia list. Hatchi is now in a loving foster home and is looking for his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and supported again. Hatchi does require eye drops daily for the remainder of his life. In our dream world, Hatchi would find a human that would help him feel confident and secure in a FINALLY stable environnment.

We adopted Bailey when she was 1.5 from Stockton animal shelter. We’ve had her for about 5 years and she’s been a great dog. She’s an Akita mix and we’re not sure what the other part is- we think husky. Unfortunately, she’s not good with cats so we have to keep her separate and now she’s starting to not like our other dog as well. Sometimes she’s extra loving towards her, sometimes she plays too aggressively. She’s never been aggressive with my kids and is the sweetest girl. Doesn’t require a ton of walking or grooming and she’s crate trained. She is one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever had (never barks or chews!)but unfortunately she just doesn;t get along with the other animals and it;s too much to manage with my kids. I really hope she can go to a good home where there’s no other dogs or cats (or someone experienced to handle her with other dogs but absolutely no cats) so she can live the rest of her life happily.

He enjoys making both human and dog friends and will likely blend in a variety of homes. He's still a pup and learning, so be prepared to teach things like basic obedience and house-training. Reno is a smart cookie, so we expect him to catch on to new training in no time. Come by the shelter today to meet Reno! Reno is 10 months old and currently 50 pounds, but still growing. He will likely be around 60 pounds full grown. He's been staying at my parents but it's getting difficult for them to maintain him. He's the sweetest boy ever.
