Hi-My name is Lizzy.I LIKE: treats and politely accept them but I love belly rubs. I`ll even put my front paws on your lap so it`s easier for you to reach my belly, then I`ll thank you with kisses. The volunteers think it`s funny when I back up to you for butt scratches! I KNOW: I`m a little shy at first. I just need a moment to know you are a friend. I also know the commands Sit, Paw, Down and can catch treats midair. The volunteers say I`m well behaved, easy to handle and have good manners.IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: to keep you company while you read a good boy, I`m the one for you!I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I`m friendly respectful of other dogs.

Story
Chance is truly a wonderful dog with the sweetest soul. Hes around 8 years old and has been such a loving, loyal companion. I recently had a baby and, unfortunately, I can't give him the time and attention he genuinely deserves right now. My goal is to find him a forever family who can give him the life he loves. Chance (AKA Chinny) is happiest when he has space to run, play, and explore. A home with a fenced backyard would be a dream for him. He LOVES walks, chasing squirrels, being included in family activities, and he’s absolutely gentle and sweet with babies and kids. He does have a low thyroid, which is easily managed with a simple pill twice a day. Because of this, he can get itchy skin from time to time and may need an occasional round of antibiotics. He does great with his meds and is very cooperative. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who will love you endlessly, Chance is truly one of a kind. He deserves a home where he will be cherished.
