Online Adoption Application › Siracha is a sweet girl who went through a lot. She was found as a stray and never reclaimed. She was severely underweight but to everyones surprise, she had 3 puppies pretty soon after coming to the shelter. She raised those pups and is starting on her journey. She's done well with the dogs In her foster home (the cats haven't been introduced to her yet). She loves to play tug-o-war with her foster sister Dove. They have a pretty great timewrestling around. She's done very well at her vet visits. She's a typical Akita, so as she gets used to her foster home, she has gotten a little protective-- by this I mean she will bark at strangers initially that come in, but she warms up with treats, she's very very good motivated!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 9:09 pm

Story
Dax is not just your average dog; he's exceptionally bright and eager to learn. His intelligence shines through as he eagerly picks up new tricks with ease. Whether it's mastering the art of fetch or impressing you with his obedience skills, Dax is always up for a challenge. But don't let his smarts fool you - Dax is also a big goofball at heart. He loves nothing more than bounding around the yard, chasing after balls in hopes you'll throw them again. His zest for life is contagious, and spending time with him is sure to brighten your day. In between chasing balls and learning new tricks, Dax enjoys leaning into your legs for pets. But be careful, all 69 pounds leaning against you just might topple you over! He just doesn't know how big he is! Come meet Dax - he is ready to steal your heart and become your newest family member. Update: Dax enjoyed a playdate with another big dog and they sure had fun - lots of bumping, chasing and running. They got so tired they ended up lying on the ground and rolling on each other! If you are interested in learning more about Dax, apply at the link below and an adoption counselor can reach out to you directly. https://www.bchumane.org/adoption-application/

Story
Tank is the cutest little dude we know! From his silky fur to his silly purple tongue, he is not your average looking pup. He loves to do zoomies in the yard and then come back inside for snuggles. And let us tell you...he is a PRO cuddler! Tank will wiggle and squish himself right into your lap, belly up, and give you the most offended eyes if you dare to stop petting him. Sometimes, he will sneakily tear a piece off of his toy and then hide the evidence. He's innocent of all toy destruction accusations! Tank does have some allergies and with the right diet and allergy medications, we got Tank's itchies under control. We would be happy to go over this with interested adopters. Tank would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Story
Clark Kent was pulled from a euthanasia list at a shelter outside of Marion Co. While we are not normally able to do this, a lot of stars aligned for this lucky dog. He is approximately 2 years old and an Akita mix. He is 56 lbs. Clark Kent was on the euthanasia list because he was suffering from very high kennel stress, and it was affecting his quality of life. He is currently living at a daycare facility and doing very well. Clark is a very sweet dog and also does well with other dogs. He has a lot of energy, so we are looking for a home where he can be active. We are also looking for a home where owners are either home frequently or where he will NOT go long periods of time in a crate. He would also do best in a home that has a fenced-in yard. Clark is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $200.

These pups are in Columbus, Indiana too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Ashley (ha.evans@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Tripp is a handsome young adult male husky.  He's quite full of himself and LOVES to show off his husky voice.  He's very treat motivated & too smart for his own good sometimes.  He's dog friendly but does have a more dominant / confident demeanor.  Tripp does not see the need to befriend cats.  His prey drive gets the best of him so he's seeking a home with no cats.  Tripp is crate trained & medically up to date.  He's truly a goofball. He loves to run & play - whether that be with himself, with toys or with his furry foster siblings.  He is still working on mastering his manners & can sometimes struggle with meeting stragners politely.  Someone with breed experience would be best suited for Tripp.  Anyone interested in Tripp can apply at https://care.rescuegroups.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 9:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Melissa (812caremlemm@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Bolt is a handsome, energetic, and super sweet boy! DEFINITELY one of the cleanest dogs you will ever meet! Bolt loves everyone he meets and he loves attention. He does well with more submissive dogs. Proper introductuons are a MUST! Sadly cats are no friend of his. He will require  a cat free home. He really wants to be their friend, but doesn't  understand  he can't  play rough like with another dog. Bolt knows basic commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘crate/room’. He is eager to learn and treat motivated. He is super sweet and super smart. He is crate/house trained (currently he has his own bedroom at his foster home and has been a true gentleman). Bolt is a full grown guy and is the SMALLEST husky we have ever seen. He is agile and does the cutest twirl/dance when he is happy and wants attention. He walks well on leash and harness. He will require at least a 5 foot fence b/c he can jump and does have a bit of prey drive (squirrels, etc. drive him nuts). He likes to go outside and run for a bit…potty and then back inside with his family.  If you have any questions please contact his foster mom Jodie. **Contact the email above. All emails and applications  are being forwarded  to Jodie.**Bolt is up to date on  vaccines, microchipped, on monthly  preventatives and neutered.Visit  care.rescuegroups.org for his profile and application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 9:09 pm

Online Adoption Application › Orion is a super sweet boy who loves to cuddle. He also loves toys, especially chewbones, running in the yard with the big dogs, and has made incredible progress with crate training and house breaking.  Orion's mom was a medium sized Husky. Orion is about 35 pounds at 6 months so we expect him to be medium once full grown.  Orion has finished all round of his puppy vaccines, rabies. He is neutered, microchipped and current on preventatives.  Orion has been socalized with a variety of different size dogs of varying energy levels. He has been around children, cats and even chickens and hangs out a frequently with our indoor pig. He does want to try to play with everyone but is learning appropriate manners.  We are a foster based rescue without a building so we do require to have an application filled out before meeting.
